For All Mankind Season 5 Episode 3  takes its time, and we think that works, even if it might test some patience. Ed’s farewell is handled with restraint. It doesn’t try to force emotion. It just shows you a man making a choice and sticking to it, and that honesty makes it land harder. Aleida’s storyline feels grounded. Her hesitation, her frustration, and her eventual decision all make sense. It doesn’t feel rushed or exaggerated. It feels like someone weighing every possible outcome and still choosing the difficult path.

Celia’s track adds tension, but it feels like it’s only getting started. The attack on her shifts things, and now there’s a sense that the situation on Mars is more controlled than it appears. If there’s one criticism, it’s that some threads feel like they pause just as they get interesting. But maybe that’s intentional. Maybe the show is holding back for what’s next.

This episode trusts its characters to carry the story, and for the most part, they do. But we keep thinking about Celia. If she’s right about Kuragin, then this is much bigger than one case.
