Angelica Hernandez Vasquez filed the suit on April 17 against Jenner and two agencies Tri Star Services and Maison Family Services that handled her employment in Los Angeles, reports USA Today. She says that after starting the job in September 2024, she was subjected to what she describes as a “hostile work environment,” alleging discrimination, harassment and retaliation tied to her race, national origin, religion and disability.

While Jenner, 28, is named as a defendant, the lawsuit doesn’t accuse her of specific actions, per People. Instead, most of the allegations focus on two supervisors a head housekeeper identified as Patsy and another supervisor named Elsi who allegedly made Vasquez’s work like miserable.

‘Hostility and exclusion’

According to court documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Vasquez says the problems started on day one at Jenner’s Hidden Hills home. She describes being treated with “hostility and exclusion” almost immediately, claiming she was singled out and marginalized by her supervisors.

Vasquez, described in the filing as a “Salvadoran woman and practicing Catholic,” claims she was mocked for accent and background, with supervisors allegedly snapping their fingers at her and treating her as “inferior,” according to USA Today.

She also says she was targeted for her faith, alleging she was told “Catholics are horrible people,” and faced intimidation tied to her immigration status, per TMZ. The lawsuit further claims co-workers made comments suggesting people like her could be deported, and that she was routinely humiliated because of her race, religion and country of origin, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Beyond the alleged verbal abuse …

Vasquez alleges she was deliberately given the worst assignments, excluded from the rest of the housekeeping team and frequently yelled at, per TMZ. When she tried to speak up, she claims the situation only got worse.

After raising concerns in November 2024, Vasquez says her complaints were brushed off and even mocked, with “no remedial action” taken, reports USA Today. Instead, she alleges the mistreatment escalated. In one incident after another complaint in March 2025, she claims a supervisor threw hangers at her feet while scolding her.

The toll was serious

Vasquez alleges she developed anxiety and symptoms consistent with post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the work environment, per TMZ. She describes the conditions as so “intolerable, hostile, and unlawful” that any reasonable person would have felt forced to quit.

Vasquez eventually took medical leave in July 2025 and resigned the following month, according to People. Now, she’s seeking punitive damages along with compensation for unpaid wages, missed breaks, unreimbursed expenses and other losses she claims she’s owed.

The lawsuit puts Jenner back in the headlines, though for very different reasons than her last viral moment. At the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet made waves with a public declaration of love during his Best Actor acceptance speech for Marty Supreme, thanking Jenner as his “partner of three years” and telling her, “I love you … I couldn’t do this without you,” in a moment that quickly spread online, per a previous Toronto Sun story.
