Every Skill in Forza Horizon 6, Explained

1 day ago 9

Car Skills are back in Forza Horizon 6, and they are still one of the easiest ways to accidentally spend thirty minutes driving in circles instead of progressing the campaign. One Near Miss turns into a Drift Tap, which turns into a Wreckage chain, and suddenly the game is throwing Skill Points at you like candy.

That said, the game also ties several meaningful rewards directly into its Skill system through the Collection Journal and Wristband progression. So yes, smashing vending machines while you’re exploring Japan does technically count as career advancement.

Keep reading for a full breakdown of every Skill currently available in FH6 and what you actually get for performing them.

Every Forza Horizon 6 Skill and How to Do Them

Some Skills happen naturally during races, while others seem to have been specifically designed by Playground Games to make players terrorize roadside infrastructure for points. If you are hunting for a particular entry, Ctrl+F (or the “Find in Page” option in your browser) is absolutely your best friend here.

Most of these are tied to aggressive overtakes, clean racing, and driving dangerously close to traffic without immediately turning your car into scrap:

Every Reward Tied to Skills in Forza Horizon 6

Performing a Skill for the first time rewards you with 10 Horizon Festival Points through the Collection Journal. Since there are 45 Skills total, that adds up to 450 points tied to this section alone, which is, of course, a pretty substantial chunk of early campaign and Wristband progression without touching half the map yet. You also get some decent rewards for reaching certain milestones here:

  • 100 Points: Applause (Car Horn)
  • 200 Points: “I’ve got the skills to pay the bills!” (Forza Link Phrase)
  • 300 Points: Wheelspin
  • 400 Points: Formula Drift #117 599 GTB Fiorano (Car)
  • 450 Points: Wheelspin

Then there are Skill Points themselves. Every drift, wreckage combo, burnout, and near-death traffic maneuver feeds directly into your Car Mastery progression. This is still one of the fastest ways to farm Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins in Forza Horizon 6, something we’ve covered in much more detail in our dedicated Super Wheelspin farming guide.
