007 First Light: How to Win The Jewel of Jahari?

007 First Light is turning out to be a chartbuster, as expected. However, not everything, and not every quest, is straight up. The Jewel of Jahari quest is one of the slickest ways to pocket $30,000 toward the $100,000 Auction Fee in Chapter 4.

However, you cannot win this one by watching the cups; instead, Bond’s famous gadgets will come to play! So we have a step-by-step guide for you to not only beat the quest and pocket the cash as easily as possible but also have fun while doing so.

Part 1: Get the Entry Fee for Jewel of Jahari

Step 1: Speak to Nirmala in the pawn shop inside the Black Market

Select the dialogue option “Anything I can do for you?” to officially pick up the Jewel of Jahari objective.

Step 2: Locate Aadan near the shoe stall to the right of the fighting pit

He is running the cup game there and will ask for a $3,500 buy-in fee to let you play.

Step 3: If you are short on cash, use the Q-Lens to spot Cash Bundles on nearby guards

Activate the Q-Lens (L1 / LB / Alt), and the bundles will glow yellow, making it easy to identify which guards to pickpocket.

Step 4: Dart a guard to stun them, then pickpocket the Cash Bundle

One bundle drops around $3,100, so you may need to hit two guards to cover the full $3,500 fee.

Part 2: Win the Cup Game to Obtain the Jewel of Jahari in 007 First Light

Step 5: Pay Aadan the $3,500 fee and watch him reveal the jewel under one of the cups

This is the critical moment! Activate your Q-Lens right now while the jewel is being shown to tag and track it through the shuffle.

Step 6: Do not try to follow the cups with your eyes

Aadan’s sleight of hand means the jewel will never end up where you tracked it. The game is designed to make you lose if you rely on your own eyes.

Step 7: Once Aadan finishes shuffling, activate the Q-Lens to reveal the correct cup

The Q-Lens uses X-ray vision to show you exactly which cup has the jewel. It will be under the middle cup.

Step 8: Select the middle cup and collect the Jewel of Jahari

Despite Aadan’s protests, the guards will ensure he hands it over.

Step 9: Return to Nirmala and sell her the Jewel of Jahari

She will pay you $30,000 on the spot, giving you nearly a third of the total Auction Fee in one clean transaction.
