Spring Update 0.8

The Spring Update for Enshrouded, titled Forging the Path, launched on April 21, 2026. It marks the final major update before the game’s full release, as the developers shift the focus to ensuring the 1.0 version delivers a mind-boggling experience.

The standout addition in this update is Adventure Sharing, a new feature that lets players easily share their builds and in-game experiences with others. It can be easily accessed from the main menu, where players can alow browse community creations and download them. The developers have confirmed that they plan to expand this feature in future updates.

Alongside this, the update brings several combat improvements, including new special abilities, melee weapons with heavy attacks, refined attack chains, and a more advanced enemy awareness system. The skill tree has also been expanded with new abilities and upgrades. In addition, players can now upgrade armor, shields, wands, and rings, plus a range of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.

1.0 Release

Enshrouded is set to reach its 1.0 release in Autumn 2026. While an exact launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet, this update is shaping up to be a major milestone for the game. It aims to deliver a significantly improved onboarding experience for new players and smoother quest progression.
