Dragon Ball Super 2: Vegeta’s Most Overpowered Super Saiyan Form Is Officially a No-Show

Vegeta is getting another chance to shine in Dragon Ball Super 2, but the upcoming anime won’t feature one of his wildest transformations. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Berserk Controlled) gives the Saiyan prince a terrifying power boost by letting him harness the Evil Aura instead of letting it control him.

The problem is that this transformation belongs to Super Dragon Ball Heroes, not the main Dragon Ball Super manga. With the new anime adapting the Moro arc, Vegeta’s most outrageous alternate-continuity power-up is staying out of the picture.

Announced on January 25, 2026, Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol will adapt the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc, bringing the planet-devouring Moro to the anime. Goku and Vegeta will join the Galactic Patrol to take on the dangerous villain, continuing the story established in the main manga.

During the Moro arc, Vegeta uses Super Saiyan Blue and later pushes his power further with Super Saiyan Blue Evolved. However, one transformation is missing from the main Dragon Ball Super timeline: Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk). And since the form belongs to the separate Super Dragon Ball Heroes continuity, it has no established place in the upcoming Moro arc adaptation.

The form begins when Fu corrupts Vegeta’s Super Saiyan Blue state with Cumber’s Evil Aura, triggering Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Berserk). Although the corruption boosts his power, it also makes him lose control of his fighting instincts, turning his precise attacks into more savage and unpredictable strikes.

Vegeta eventually overcomes this weakness during his battles with Turles and Cumber. Rather than letting the Evil Aura control him, he learns to harness its power, unlocking Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (Controlled Berserk). This transformation combines his divine Saiyan power with the dark energy he has mastered, making him far more dangerous than in his uncontrolled state.

Vegeta’s Berserk Blue Presents a Dark Alternative to Canon’s Ultra Ego

The difference between the two Berserk forms is brutal. The original transformation makes Vegeta stronger but leaves him vulnerable because he cannot properly control himself. Berserk Controlled removes that major drawback and delivers an even greater power boost.

Its biggest flex comes when Vegeta decisively overpowers Evil Saiyan Turles and Super Saiyan 3 Full Power Cumber. Both fighters had previously overwhelmed his standard Super Saiyan Blue form while using the Evil Aura themselves. Once Vegeta masters that same energy, the tables turn completely.

That’s what makes Berserk Controlled such a monstrous upgrade. Vegeta doesn’t simply gain more power; he removes the weakness that held his earlier transformation back. He can unleash the Evil Aura without allowing it to dictate his movements, turning a dangerous source of corruption into a weapon he controls.

The transformation also offers a striking alternative to Ultra Ego, Vegeta’s canon power-up gained through his training with Beerus. While Ultra Ego draws on the power of Destruction, Berserk Controlled combines Super Saiyan Blue with the Evil Aura’s immense power. Its crushing victories over Turles and Cumber make it a fearsome addition to Vegeta’s transformation lineup, even if the two forms belong to separate continuities.

With its overwhelming presence and Vegeta’s newfound control, Berserk Controlled stands as one of his most devastating alternate-universe transformations.
