Dragon Ball: 5 Best Saiyan Candidates to Wield the Legendary Super Saiyan Form After Broly, Ranked

In the Dragon Ball universe, some Saiyans do not just become stronger; they unlock power that can completely change a battle. Broly’s green-haired transformation is one of the best examples of this kind of terrifying power.

His strength keeps growing as his emotions take over, making his form very different from the usual Super Saiyan transformations. But Broly is not the only Saiyan with incredible potential. Several others have shown the rage, talent, or natural power that could make them possible candidates.

5 Vegeta Has the Saiyan Power to Handle It

Vegeta has almost everything needed to become a terrifying Saiyan warrior. Gohan ranks above Trunks because his story has repeatedly shown that intense emotions can unlock massive hidden power. That makes him one of the strongest theoretical candidates for a form built around overwhelming energy and rage.

1 Kale Is the Most Natural Successor to Broly

Kale is the easiest choice on this list because she has already shown the closest thing to Broly’s green-haired power. During the Tournament of Power, she transformed into her Berserk state and gained enormous strength, a larger body, green hair, and a powerful green aura.

What makes Kale stand above everyone else is that this is not just a theory based on her Saiyan blood or personality. She has actually demonstrated a unique Berserk transformation in canon and later learned to control her power. Gohan and Trunks have powerful rage-based transformations, while Caulifla has amazing talent, but Kale has the clearest connection to Broly’s kind of power.
