Dorohedoro Season 2 Episode 6 Brief Recap
Dokuga from Dorohedoro Season 2 | Credits: MAPPAEpisode 6 could have been the anime’s biggest highlight so far, since fans finally got to see the long-awaited face-off between Caiman and En. The fight turned out to be one-sided, however, with En having an easy victory over Caiman. Caiman did try to fight back, but he could only deal a minor scratch to En.
In the process, En managed to reveal Caiman’s real face for the first time in the series. His lizard transformation was undone, and even Nikaido could bear witness to his true form. However, soon after, it appeared that Caiman died in the episode, and black smoke gushed out of his body and took a human form.
The smoke went up to the resurrected Risu and engulfed his body. The humanoid smoke figure, however, looked like the Cross-Eye leader whom we saw in Dokuga’s flashback, but nothing else was revealed about it.
On the other side, Ebisu apparently died while searching for her parents. Thankfully, Fujita was at the scene, so he could defeat the monster that sliced Ebisu’s left side of the body in half. At the end of the episode, it was suggested that Kawajiri might have saved Caiman from inevitable death.
What to Expect in Dorohedoro Season 2 Episode 7?
Dokuga as teased in Dorohedoro Season 2 Episode 7 preview | Credits: MAPPAFrom the Episode 7 preview images shared on the anime’s official site, we can expect En and Nikaido to take center stage again. Nikaido will surely try her best to resist having En control her once more. But since she assumes that Caiman is now dead, will her will to keep living remain the same?
Plus, Episode 7 is expected to show us what happens with Ebisu next. Will Fujita be able to bring her to Noi so that she can heal her? Or will we get to see Kikurage in action again, making a copy of Ebisu with its magic, the same way it recreated Risu?
Last but not least, much of the focus will likely remain on Dokuga as well. Through him, we might get more information on the identity of the Cross-Eye leader and why he looked like Caiman’s actual face. Thus, there is a lot to expect from the next episode too. Are you excited?
