ADN later apologized and confirmed that the January 2027 date was posted by accident. So, as of now, there is no exact release date for Season 3.

Now, what is officially confirmed is that Dandadan Season 3 is happening. The anime is once again being produced by Science SARU, and the studio has already shared a new teaser visual. The visual shows Momo, Okarun, and Turbo-Granny, along with a mysterious girl coming out of a strange creature.

The only confirmed timeline right now is 2027 (via the official website). So while the anime is definitely coming back, you will have to wait a bit longer for an exact release date.

What to Expect From Dandadan Season 3

Season 2 ended with all the Dandadan chaos that you could think of. While facing a kaiju from outer space, the team was able to beat it by using a big robot. Yeah, that’s right, an actual battle between robots! It was wild and crazy. And then, things got even more interesting afterwards.

When the team checked the defeated creature, they found a zipper on it. Once opened, a green-haired girl came out from inside. This girl, later known as Vamola, suddenly kissed Okarun right in front of Momo. The moment was shocking, funny, and awkward all at the same time – and that’s exactly where the season ended.

Season 3 will continue from this point and will dive right into another much bigger story. The next part of the anime is expected to cover the Space Globalist Arc. According to the manga, this arc brings a full alien invasion to Earth. A group called the Kur attacks, and the story becomes much larger than before. The line between ghosts and aliens starts to blur even more.

This particular storyline will make Vamola extremely significant. She is not just some random character – the next story arc is expected to focus on her own story, and it connects directly to the new threat. At the same time, Momo and Okarun will be pushed harder than ever, both in fights and in their relationship.
