Forced to partner with Olwen, a Replicant days from dying, she hunts down a runaway hiding a truth that could collapse their fragile city.

Serving as a direct continuation of Ridley Scott’s iconic franchise, the eight-episode miniseries flips the classic lore on its head by jumping 50 years past the events of Blade Runner 2049. In this bleak vision of the future, humanity has lost control, leaving Replicants as the dominant force.

The Sci-Fi Series, Blade Runner 2099, Hits Prime Video This November

The story centers on Cora (Hunter Schafer), a desperate human fugitive striving to survive under the harsh regime of the new world order. To evade capture and secure her survival, Cora is forced to disguise herself as a Blade Runner. Her path collides with Olwen (Michelle Yeoh), a veteran Replicant Blade Runner who is hunting down rogue synthetics while confronting the inescapable end of her own hard-coded lifespan.

“Humans want what was taken from them, but it’s our time now,” Yeoh’s character declares in the trailer, establishing the volatile political and moral conflict at the heart of the show.

Together, this unlikely duo forms a fragile alliance to track down missing Replicants whose secrets could unravel what remains of society. With Ridley Scott producing and Silka Luisa serving as showrunner, the series delivers the moody, noir aesthetic fans expect while carving out a fresh, high-octane direction.
