Capcom has confirmed that the September 2026 spotlight will air on September 16, 2026, at 7:00 AM PT, and will run for about 40 minutes while being broadcast on the studio’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, with subtitles available in 13 languages to make the presentation accessible to a global audience. The timing lines up with Tokyo Game Show 2026, which opens to the public from September 17 through September 21 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. By airing the Spotlight a day ahead of the show floor, Capcom gives itself a global stage before the on-site crowds and press start to arrive.

What to Expect From Capcom Spotlight Broadcast

The studio hasn’t published a thorough rundown for the Spotlight itself, but it has confirmed the six major games heading to its Tokyo Game Show booth, with most of them expected to double as Spotlight content. These games are:

• Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen
• Mega Man: Dual Override
• Monster Hunter Wilds expansion
• Onimusha: Way of the Sword
• Pragmata
• Street Fighter 6

Onimusha: Way of the Sword in particular had its launch moved up to September 4, 2026, putting it on shelves less than two weeks before the Spotlight officially airs, while Pragmata has already been out since April.

Because the full roster for the broadcast isn’t locked in yet, there’s room left for additional announcements that go beyond the six confirmed games. Many expect a possible announcement for the Resident Evil Requiem expansion as well, which Capcom has already confirmed is in development.
