Brad Pitt Officially Confirms Ocean’s 14 is Happening After ‘Banger’ Script

Although it has been speculated for a long time, Brad Pitt has just confirmed that Ocean’s 14 has a banger script. Praising fellow co-star George Clooney for coming up with the idea, Pitt revealed to Entertainment Tonight (via Complex) that Ocean’s 14 will be a reunion for several of the actors who were part of the movies.

According to Pitt, stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts are already confirmed to return for Ocean’s 14. Pitt also revealed that George Clooney “wrote a banger of a script” that was actually worth getting up and going. The actor concluded that the script was so iconic that they are “gonna do it”.

Based on what we have about the premise of Ocean’s 14, it seems that the crew is ready for another heist, but this time… they are too old.

With much of the cast returning, the upcoming movie won’t simply be about getting everyone together. Instead, George Clooney has said that the story will lean heavily into the fact that Danny Ocean’s crew is now quite old.

Although they know the game, the crew will go for another heist, but this time, their bodies probably won’t keep up with the skills required. Clooney has also shared that Ocean’s 14 is inspired by the 1979 film Going in Style, which had a similar premise.

Alongside Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, and George Clooney, Don Cheadle is also set to return alongside Andy Garcia, who will reprise his role as casino owner Terry Benedict. The upcoming movie might just play into the nostalgia factor, which could prove to be a critical hit amongst adults while also introducing the franchise to the newer generation.
