Ketch Class: Perfectly Ordered 12-Pounder

This is your starter vessel in Windrose. The Stock Ketch variant has built a reputation as the most reliable option for early-game combat. We recommend you equip it with three Perfectly Ordered 12-Pounder cannons crafted at your Shipwright’s Workshop.

After you ascend these cannons to the Epic tier using Tumbaga Ingots, it unlocks a 30% reload speed bonus. This will allow you to leverage their fast 11-second base reload speed to easily out-shoot early enemies.

Brigantine Class: Perfectly Ordered 24-Pounder

To unlock the Brigantine class ship, you will have to reach reputation level 2 with the Brethren of the Coast. You should build the Blackbeard Brigantine variant to have the quickest ship the game has to offer, with decent HP. We recommend you install six Perfectly Ordered 24-Pounder cannons onto it.

The ship’s high speed of 22 knots will allow you to take the most advantage of your installed cannons. Since you will maneuver quickly and land your shots consistently because of the setup. This further allows you to easily trigger the 30% reload speed buff from your Epic-tier cannons.

The Frigate is the endgame warship in Windrose. It’s unlocked by reaching Level 4 with the Brethren of the Coast. Remember, this ship will be used to fight boss vessels and high-HP targets. Hence, you should have the Blackbeard Frigate variant and equip it with twelve Devastating 36-Pounder cannons.

Hitting a target with over 50% of a Devastating Volley applies a Raked debuff. This effect increases all damage taken by that ship by 10% for 25 seconds. This debuff stacks up to three times, resulting in a massive 30% damage multiplier. It’s the ultimate tool for tearing through the enormous health pools of endgame ships.
