Roblox Anime Overload features multiple units with unique Passives and Ultimates that determine whether they’re cut out to face challenging waves of enemies and Bosses without falling back. While Traits also come into play when picking units in the game, some units are powerful even without them. With that said, here’s a meta Anime Overload tier list for April 2026 to help you pick the best units.

1 S-Tier

S-Tier includes those units in Anime Overload that you need to get and evolve first:

  • Bald Hero: Bald Hero is one of the best units that you can get in Anime Overload, consistently dishing out serious damage. He has two Evolutions, Serious and Super Serious, and with the Overloaded Trait, the damage he deals skyrockets. As a reliable and formidable meta unit, he’s one of the first heroes that you should rank up and evolve.
  • Song Jinuu: Song Jinuu is an extremely overpowered Hybrid unit, thanks to his high damage output and strong Passives that allow him to upgrade his own Stats and increase damage. Once you evolve him into his Necromancer form, his Ultimate wreaks havoc regularly, and with Igrus, he becomes far stronger, crossing the ‘broken’ territory.
  • Crimson Queen: Crimson Queen is one of the strongest units in Anime Overload. While her base version has Passives that boost her damage, Bleed potential, and Crit Chance, her Evolved Dominant form is straight up terrifying, mowing down hordes of enemies with her ridiculous damage output.
  • Sokono: Sokono is an S-Tier unit in Anime Overload by all means. Players can easily evolve him into his Domain form, which amplifies his Passives and makes him deliver devastating Crit damage to any enemies in his path. Pair that with his Ultimate, which slows down enemies, and you have a meta-dominating Unit in your collection.
  • Red Hair: Red Hair deserves the S-Tier spot on our Anime Overload tier list, thanks to his high base damage without the Overloaded Trait. Not only does his Passives allow him to stun enemies, but his Ultimate massively boosts damage while slowing down enemies for a considerable duration. As a Ground-type unit, Shanks is consistently reliable, and you can win clear waves with your eyes closed. If you have Red Hair, upgrade him and work towards unlocking his Conqueror Evolution, which will give you access to his powerful Ultimate.
  • Igrus: Igrus is an excellent Ground unit in Anime Overload, who becomes even better when evolved into his Arise form. His Passives are flexible and diverse, allowing him to control crowds with Blood-Red Vanguard and dish out serious damage to Bosses with Crimson Sovereign Duel thanks to the Crit Multiplier. Igrus thrives in longer modes, and his Ultimate offers an exceptional boost to damage and Movement Speed to his current abilities.

2 A-Tier

A-Tier includes some of the strongest units in Anime Overload, and you should focus on working on them, only if you don’t have the S-Tier units mentioned above:

  • Strongest Alien: Strongest Alien is a formidable Hybrid unit in Anime Overload. He deals extremely serious damage, and once you unlock his Burst Evolution, you can use his Ultimate to increase his overall damage significantly. His Passives allow him to increase his Crit Multiplier and base damage. A longer SPA holds him back from being an S-Tier unit in Anime Overload.
  • Choy: Choy is one of the finest Hybrid units in Anime Overload, surpassed only by Saitama and Sukuna. You can place a maximum of 4 Choys on the battlefield and let them work their magic. His base Trait applies Burn, dealing burn damage, which his Ultimate Weapon Evolution further elevates. Long story short, he’s overpowered, and pairing him with the Voidborn Trait will improve his base damage output, range, and Crit Chance and Crit Damage, while reducing SPA for rapidly dealing damage during battles.
  • Jaken Hunter: Despite the recent nerf, Jaken Hunter is still a top-tier unit in Anime Overload. He shines when evolved into his Adult form, thanks to his Passives inflicting Stun on enemies, and boosting damage and Crit Multiplier (after certain conditions are met). With the Overloaded Trait, he can become even more formidable, so we recommend pairing that with Jaken Hunter to unlock his full potential on the battlefield.
  • Cha-Hain: Cha-Hain is a bleed queen in Anime Overload, especially in her evolved Prestine form. Her evolved Passives allow her to deal more damage and inflict more Bleed in Flow State, and she can avoid all enemy Status Influences and Bindings, along with dodging all Bosses. Whenever she dodges a Boss attack, she hits back with a retaliatory strike that deals massive damage. Additionally, her Ultimate also enhances her offensive and Bleed capabilities, so if you’re having trouble with Bosses, Cha-Hain is the unit you should focus on.
  • Chain Man: Chain Man is a high damage Ground unit in Anime Overload. In his evolved Psychotic form, Chain Man’s Passives increase his damage and Bleed potential. Additionally, whenever he’s within Makima’s range, he dishes out extra Bleed damage, clearing waves even quicker. Despite attacking only the strongest enemies when he’s with Makima, he’s still one of the best Ground units in the game.

3 B-Tier

Imperial Silver in Anime Overload. Some solid picks right here! | Credits: Anime Overload Wiki/Hi-Fun Interactive

B-Tier includes the Anime Overload units that are decent and usable, but lack hard-hitting Passives and abilities required to secure an A-Tier or S-Tier spot. You should upgrade and evolve them only if you don’t have the units listed in the earlier tiers:

  • Imperial Silver: Imperial Silver in Anime Overload offers a decent combination of damage and Repel with his Passives, along with rotating his Element after each kill. His evolved Prime form also offers a Drop Chance bonus for all items, which is perfect for farming materials. His Ultimate further boosts damage and increases the chances of triggering his Passives, so overall, Imperial Silver is a formidable Ground unit.
  • Maine: Maine in Anime Overload is a solid Hybrid unit with strong Passives and a decent damage output. Naturally, she becomes even better in her evolved Final Push form, maximising damage and Crit Chance with full stacks. She’s great at breaking and stripping shields away from hit enemies, and her Ultimate is quite useful for inflicting stun and dealing massive damage to enemies.
  • Goju: Goju has immense utility in Anime Overload with the Passives in his evolved Unlimited form, allowing him to slow down enemies, reduce their buffs, and deal damage directly through any shield that a target has, including Bosses. His Ultimate stuns enemies and breaks their shields, which is optimal for supporting allies. Goju’s AoE damage is also terrific for clearing waves, so, in conclusion, he’s a fantastic Hybrid unit, made even better with the Voidborn Trait.
  • Sosoke: Sosoke is a terrific Ground unit in Anime Overload with two Evolution forms: MS and RS. His Passives allow him to provide support by slowing enemies with Trance and stripping away their shields. Additionally, his damage is amplified with Dark Burn, allowing him to clear waves even more quickly, so he’s an excellent Ground support unit with huge damage potential.
  • Kaitou: Kaitou is a unique unit in Anime Overload, thanks to his Upgrade mechanic, which allows him to change his weapons mid-battle. His Gun and Hammer variants are significantly weaker, but can provide decent support. However, his Trinity and Scythe variants are where he shines, dealing exceptional bleed damage to Bosses and mobs. Since his Upgrade mechanic can be a hit-or-miss, he sits at B-Tier and is surpassed by the likes of Sokono and Strongest Alien.
  • Devil Knight: Devil Knight’s evolution from his Demonic to Berserk form is where he reaches his potential, but it’s still not enough. He offers good support with Magic Negation to Dark/True/Physical units, which is basically a damage boost. Overall, his Passives are situational, but if you can pair him with the Overloaded Trait, he becomes a worthy alternative to the high-tier units with the incredible damage boost.
  • Fallen Saint: Fallen Saint is a team-dependent Ground unit in Anime Overload, and he’s best utilized when he reaches his S-Rank form. His Passives can help Allied Heroes to have more Range and damage with their abilities, especially with units of the same element. To effectively use him, use the Voidborn Trait, which massively increases Range and damage.

4 C-Tier

Susono in Anime Overload.Great for support, not damage! | Credits: Anime Overload Wiki/Hi-Fun Interactive

C-Tier includes the heroes that offer great support while falling behind in terms of their damage output in Anime Overload:

  • Susono: Susono in Anime Overload should be used exclusively as a support hero, as his damage output can use some work. He’s a solid Air option if you’re looking to place Air units on the battlefield, and his evolved Indra version boasts effective Passives, allowing him to chain and electrocute targets. His Ultimate only amplifies his damage and electrocuting capabilities, so overall, he’s decent.
  • Ener: Ener is a strong support Hybrid in Anime Overload, and similar to Susono, he also electrocutes enemies while filling up his Vari Bar to provide himself with various buffs in his evolved Lightning form. He deals great AoE damage, and his Ultimate is great for inflicting stun on enemies. If you’re looking for a solid support unit that can electrocute and stun enemies consistently, look no further than Ener.
  • Greye: Greye’s base Passives in Anime Overload are optimal for freezing enemies, but his potential unlocks in his evolved Frost form. He can freeze enemies and inflict Frostbite to deal bonus damage, and his Ultimate successfully inflicts Frostbite on all targets, including Bosses, along with increasing Crit Chance. While he offers more utility with the Voidborn Trait, there are better units to place.
  • Yono: As a beginner Air unit, Yono in Anime Overload offers a great combination of buffing allies and slowing down enemies. His Passives are further enhanced in his evolved Spirit form, and despite not having an Ultimate, Yono still manages to stand on his own two feet, especially with the Voidborn Trait.
  • Kid Psychic: Kid Psychic’s base form is quite decent in Anime Overload, but his evolved 99% form awakens his true strength. His Passives allow him to inflict Repel and deal bonus damage. He also gains useful buffs for every allied hero within his range, inflicted by Status Influences or Bindings, and his Ultimate helps him stun all enemies and slow flying targets, offering much-needed support during intense encounters.
  • Death Surgeon: Death Surgeon, when evolved into his Operation form, can cripple and slow down enemies, and deal additional damage with his Passives. So, as a Support option, he’s solid, despite the lack of an Ultimate.

5 D-Tier

Beak in Anime Overload.Better off without them! | Credits: Anime Overload Wiki/Hi-Fun Interactive

D-Tier includes the Anime Overload units, which you shouldn’t summon or upgrade even if you obtain them first:

  • Beak: Beak’s usage as a unit in Anime Overload depends on the situation, and his evolved Beast form doesn’t have an Ultimate, which is disappointing. His damage output is decent, and it depends on range, thanks to his Passives. You can definitely find better meta-dominating units instead of settling for Beak in Anime Overload, as his utility pales in comparison to others.
  • Wend: Since Wend is a legendary Air unit, she has only one Passive, which makes her way worse than the other units on this Anime Overload list. Her Passive cleanses all heroes of any Status Effects, and reduces their SPA by 10%, and while that’s beneficial, her damage output isn’t that strong, even with the right Traits. Additionally, she herself isn’t immune to Status Influences or Bindings, so overall, there are much better options.
  • Natso: Natso is a legendary Hybrid unit in Anime Overload, and while he has some decent Burn Passives, there are much better alternatives you can opt for. His Dragon King and Dragon’s Breath Passives are useful for a quick Burn synergy, but other than that, there’s no use for Natso for the current meta, even in his Fire & Lightning form and with the right Traits.
  • Vegetable: Vegetable might become Almighty once you evolve him in Anime Overload, but he’s a far cry from it. While he’s potentially a decent unit for beginners, thanks to his Passives, which offer damage boosts, he’s not the unit to go for when taking on higher-level Bosses. Hence, he sits in the D-Tier.
  • Tojee: Tojee is a Legendary Ground unit with only one Passive and no evolution forms, which makes him an undesirable option in Anime Overload. If you’re looking for units that can bypass Shields, Tojee does a fine job with his Inverted Spear of Heaven Passive, damaging enemies through Shields, including Bosses. However, there are hardly any other uses for him.
