The combination process is simple: you interact with an Evolution Gem and create a Weapon Evolution if you have the correct cards with you. Cards are largely obtained from various Chests in this roguelite adventure.

However, there’s no guarantee that you’ll create an Evolution every time you interact with them, since there’s an element of luck involved. Currently, there are 17 Weapon Evolutions you can make if you have the cards required for them. With these recipes, you can deal with ghosts, bats, and vampires far more easily. The best part about them is that you don’t need the exact card to create the Evolution. Instead, you need the Item Type.

Suppose you want to create the NO FUTURE Weapon Evolution. The recipe requires you to combine Runetracer and an Armor. However, it doesn’t matter if you use a Rainbow Armor, Golden Armor or a Hero’s Armor, as long as you use an Armor card. How to Evolve Cards in Vampire Crawlers

For starters, you need two compatible weapon/item cards to begin the Evolution process in Vampire Crawlers. When you have the correct Card Combination, applying an Evolution Gem to the weapon will create a hidden Weapon Evolution. However, as we mentioned earlier, there’s not only a bit of luck involved with the Chest openings, but it’ll also take you some trial and error to get the Weapon Evolutions going.

In your runs, you’ll interact with Evolution Statues with red Evolution Gems in Vampire Crawlers. These will give you cards to trigger a potential Weapon Evolution. If you do not possess the correct cards with you, don’t worry, as it will compensate you with a weapon or an item card that will help you create a Weapon Evolution with the next Evolution Gem you interact with.

The more powerful your Weapon Evolution is, the more mana it will cost. Then comes the sacrificial part, where you must sacrifice a card after selecting your preferred Evolution. Always sacrifice the card that is comparatively less valuable, and when this process is done, you can use your new Weapon Evolution to deal with those that stand in your way.

Our recommendation would be to perform an Evolution whenever you can, but focus on the mana cost you’ll incur. You could be in a real card pickle if you don’t have enough mana to run these cards.
