Wuthering Waves is going to get the Version 3.7 update soon, and it’s going to be a big one. We’re getting two brand-new 5-star Resonators joining the playable roster. Hsin and Suoming have both been officially revealed, while leaks have also pointed toward four returning characters appearing alongside them.

Hsin and Suoming are the only characters confirmed to be new additions for Version 3.7. Official reveals have established that Hsin is an Electro Rectifier user, while Suoming is an Electro Sword user. Their expected banner order is also becoming clearer, with Hsin likely arriving first and Suoming following in Phase 2.

Current leaks suggest the following lineup:
| Phase 1 | Hsin, Chisa, Iuno | October 1–22 |
| Phase 2 | Suoming, Lynae, Lucilla | October 22–November 12 |
These dates are estimates based on the game’s usual three-week banner phases. Version 3.6 is scheduled to end on September 30, making October 1 the expected starting point for 3.7.
Hsin is going to be the character in the first phase. She is the first playable Sentinel and is reportedly designed around Electro Flare mechanics, with leaked gameplay suggesting a damage-focused role. Her kit is expected to make use of multiple combat forms and powerful Electro attacks, although her final abilities and numbers have not been officially detailed.
The second phase will introduce Suoming. She is also an Electro 5-star, but her Sword gives her a different identity from Hsin. Leaked information suggests that Suoming can deal damage herself while also providing buffs related to Electro and Resonance Skill damage. Her ability to function away from the field could make her particularly valuable in teams built around specific damage types.

Kuro Games has scheduled the Version 3.7 Preview Special Broadcast for September 19, 2026, at 8:00 PM JST. The livestream will reveal the final banner schedule, alongside more information about Hsin and Suoming.
Version 3.6 ends on September 30, so we can expect Version 3.7 to come out on October 1. If you’re saving up your Astrite, Version 3.7 is definitely going to be an expensive one. We have two new fantastic 5-star characters, and the reruns also have characters with strong team utility.
