All Upcoming Genshin Impact 7.1 Banners

Genshin Impact Version 7.1 is coming out in just under two weeks, and it’s going to be a big one. The new update will bring two new Snezhnayan character banners and two very anticipated rerun banners. Of course, the two new characters will come with their own five-star signature weapons alongside the game’s sixth-anniversary celebrations.

Version 7.1 is scheduled to launch on September 23, 2026, and the character and weapon banners will be split across two phases as well. We will first be able to wish for Vesna and Vodyanitsa, while Skirk and Escoffier will return during the second half of the update. Here are all the details.

Genshin Impact 7.1 Phase 1 Banners

The first phase of Version 7.1 begins on September 23, 2026, and features the debut banners for Vesna and Vodyanitsa. Both characters will be available simultaneously until October 13, 2026.

Vesna is a five-star Anemo Sword who is going to be the first limited Stellar Swirl main DPS. Her kit revolves around Stellar Swirl and Elemental Skill damage. As part of her kit, Cryo Swirl reactions triggered by party members are converted into Stellar Swirl reactions, and they also increase the team’s Stellar Swirl damage.

Alongside her banner, players can pull for her signature five-star Sword, Beyond the Chrysalis.

The other Phase 1 character is Vodyanitsa, a five-star Hydro Catalyst user who is going to be a Hydro and Cryo support. She can heal allies, improve Hydro and Cryo damage, reduce enemies’ Hydro and Cryo RES, and provide resistance to interruption. Her bonuses can also adapt to teams built around Stellar Swirl, making her a particularly useful partner for Vesna.

Vodyanitsa’s signature five-star Catalyst, Hymn of the Maelstrom, will be featured on the corresponding weapon banner.

The featured four-star characters for the two Phase 1 Event Wishes have not been confirmed as of yet.

Genshin Impact 7.1 Phase 2 Banners

Phase 2 begins on October 13, 2026, replacing the debut banners with two returning five-star characters: Skirk and Escoffier. Their reruns are scheduled to remain available until November 3, 2026.

Skirk is a five-star Cryo Sword character and one of the game’s strongest damage dealers. Her gameplay is all about enhanced Normal Attacks and her powerful Elemental Burst, so if you want her and missed her in earlier banners, this rerun is going to be for you.

Her signature weapon, the five-star Sword Azurelight, will also receive a rate-up during Phase 2.

Meanwhile, Escoffier is one of the best all-around Cryo supports. She combines team support with healing and off-field damage, making her a valuable option for teams that can take advantage of her Cryo-focused abilities.

Her signature Polearm, Symphonist of Scents, will be featured alongside Azurelight on the Phase 2 weapon banner.

There are a lot of options for spending your Primogems in Version 7.1. If you’re looking to pull a new character, you can pull for Vesna or Vodyanitsa in Phase 1. And if you’re trying to build a Freeze or Cryo team, then Skirk and Escoffier await you in Phase 2.
