To reach the Far Far North, you’ll need to complete a tricky questline where you track down multiple trainwrecks and recover black box data, all while dealing with moving extraction zones and constant enemy waves. Where to Find Every Trainwreck in Far Far West

To unlock the Far Far North in the game, you’ll need to track down three separate trainwreck sites spread across Far Far West and beyond. However, they are not easy to find, as each one is tied to a black box recovery mission given by the Railroad Worker.

Additionally, each location follows the same core mechanic: stay inside moving extraction zones while surviving enemy pressure.

Your first stop is in Far West, where the wreck sits at the northern edge of the map. Talk to the Railroad Worker beside the broken train and start the extraction. You’ll notice glowing green circles shifting around the area; these are your lifeline. Stand inside them to progress the download while keeping your footing as they slowly drift.

NOTE: Once the progress bar reaches 50%, enemies begin swarming in, turning a simple extraction quest into a chaotic fight for survival.

Your second stop is in the Canyon map, where the wreck site is located on a raised eastern section of the terrain. The process repeats here, but the pacing feels tighter. The same moving circles appear, enemies spawn mid-extraction, and your focus has to stay locked on the objective rather than the chaos around you.

The final stop is hidden in Area 41, where the wreck site is located deep in the northeast zone. This area must first be unlocked through the Dr. Spark-Twist questline, so don’t expect to access it early. Once inside, you’ll find the Railroad Worker again near the crash site. This last extraction’s circles shift more frequently; stay vigilant.

Once all three trainwreck extractions are complete in Far Far West, the hard part is technically over, but don’t be complacent, as you still need to claim your reward.

To do that, return to the saloon hub area, where you originally began your journey with the Railroad Worker. Turn in the completed questline, and the game will finally grant access to the Far Far North region.

On the world map, you may need to scroll upward, but the new snowy area will now appear at the top of the map. This is the Far Far North: a cold, dangerous expansion filled with new exploration routes, tougher encounters, and fresh grinding opportunities.
