All Saros Endings Explained

Housemarque’s Saros is a brand-new PS5 exclusive that officially launched on April 30th, 2026. The game places you in the role of Arjun Devraj, who has found himself trapped in a perpetual eclipse on an alien planet. As he explores the lost colony, battles hostile creatures, and searches for a way to survive, the story unfolds into multiple outcomes. Players can encounter the standard ending and the hidden ending, both of which have different conclusions. So, if you’re curious, here are all the Saros endings explained.

The Main Ending in Saros Explained

The main ending of Saros is unlocked simply by playing through the game and reaching the final act. In this ending, Arjun succeeds in confronting the King at the Yellow Shore. However, as he crosses the barrier, he finds himself in a room at Rue Paree. Standing there, he notices his reflection appearing in the yellow glass behind him, which, without a warning, pulls him down the void.

As he plunges downward, he watches his hands catch fire, his eyes begin to transform, and he realizes that he is becoming the King himself. Suddenly, Nitya appears beside a throne, and Arjun takes his place upon it, reaching out to take her hand. In the end, Arjun assumes the role of the next king, continuing the cycle.

The Secret Ending in Saros Explained

The secret ending of Saros is only accessible once you have already witnessed the main ending. Once that condition is met, head to the large domed building at Shattered Descent in Echelon III and have a chat with Kayla. From there, you need to make your way to Blighted Marsh and explore the area until you come across a red tree, where you will find Kiira and have a conversation with her.

Next, make your way to Nitya’s Lab, which is within the Cathedral Biome. Your objective here is to find the holocache. Once that’s taken care of, make your way back and speak with Kayla once again, and then proceed to Banyan Tree. From there, take the fight against King again at Yellow Shore, but this time, don’t kill him. Now, take the walk across the barrier once more.

Arjun washes ashore and begins to undergo the King transformation again, but it halts the moment he throws away the pendant. Nitya then appears beside him, and the two share a conversation where she tells him he should have never come, that this place was her dream. Arjun confesses that he couldn’t bear the thought of losing what they had together, but Nitya reminds him that what he has done can’t be undone. She asks him what he intends to do now that a new day has come, and quietly walks away.
