All Romance Options in The Blood of Dawnwalker

The Blood of Dawnwalker puts Coen in the middle of a dangerous fight for Vale Sangora, but the game’s story also leaves room for romance. He has three romance options: Anca, Crake, and Lacra, and players aren’t forced to choose just one of them.

We are covering every possible romance route in The Blood of Dawnwalker, including where each relationship begins, as well as what the most important conversations to watch for are. The best part? You can pursue all three romances in a single playthrough.

The Blood of Dawnwalker: Anca Romance Option

Anca is a witch and a healer from Laslea and the earliest romance option Coen encounters. Her storyline begins during the prologue, when Coen meets her while looking for medicines for his mother.

To develop Anca’s romance, follow her questline through the following quests of the game:

• Withering Away/ Page Turner
• Echoes of Silenced Bells
• Between the Words
• Where Old Devils Lie
• Stronger Than Achilles

You will get several opportunities to flirt with Anca, and important moments include choosing the romantic responses during Between the Words, showing concern for her at the mountain pool in Where Old Devils Lie, and expressing your devotion when she reveals her desire for The Font in Stronger Than Achilles.

The Blood of Dawnwalker: Crake Romance Option

Crake, also known as Marat, is the leader of the Manumit rebellion against the Vrakhiri. His romance is closely tied to the rebellion storyline and develops as Coen earns his trust.

The route for this one involves the following quests:

• Shadows in the Woods
• Where Loyalty Lies
• What Hunts the Night
• What Moves the Dead
• Distant Shadows
• A Closer Look

A major turning point in this romance path occurs when Coen helps Crake with his injury. Later, in the What Hunts the Night quest, the player is provided with an intimate moment between them, while Distant Shadows and A Closer Look push the relationship further. Eventually, Crake attempts to kiss Coen, allowing you to return his feelings and complete the romance.

The Blood of Dawnwalker: Lacra Romance Option

Lacra is the game’s Vrakhiri romance option. Although she is a vampre, she isn’t simply another follower of Brencis. Lacra has her own reasons for opposing him and is willing to work with Coen.

These are the quests you’ll need to go through if you follow her romance path:

• A Friend Like This
• The Song of the Mountain
• Hive and Seek
• Our Rotten Roots
• The Night of Horrors

The relationship develops through a mixture of cooperation and flirtatious encounters. During Hive and Seek, your Kobold-related decision does not affect the romance. Our Rotten Roots can also reveal more about Lacra’s memories of preventing the relationship.

The major romantic moment arrives during The Night of Horrors. After eating the Mandrake flower, Coen can drink Lacra’s blood and kiss her, leading to the intimate conclusion of her romance route.

As mentioned before, Anca, Crake, and Lacra can all be romanced in the same playthrough. There is no requirement to choose a single partner at the beginning of the game. The key is to continue pursuing each character’s questline and take the romantic dialogue options when they appear.
