Capcom’s glorious return to the Onimusha series gives Miyamoto Musashi more than his trusty sword to work with. Oni Armaments are supernatural weapons summoned through the Oni Gauntlet, using the Blue Souls you collect from defeated Genma to fill your Oni Power gauge.

Some Armaments arrive naturally as you follow the story, while others sit inside chests tucked away from the main path. Missing one does not mean starting over, either, as you can clean up the collection before the point of no return.
On that note, here is where to find all seven Oni Armaments and unlock the Oni Armory trophy and achievement in Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
1 The Two Celestials

The Two Celestials summon a pair of blades for a rapid flurry of attacks. Their special effect is particularly useful when your health is running low because enemies struck by the attack release Yellow Souls, letting you recover health while dealing damage.
2 Oni Bow

Its official description focuses on its ranged utility and ability to activate mechanisms. Beyond that, the bow can target distant enemies and interact with environmental objects, while charged shots can prevent enemies from recovering stamina.
3 Wind Whipper

A chest appears after this sequence, and you guessed it, the Wind-Whipper is waiting for you inside it.
The double-bladed naginata creates a wide whirlwind that hits surrounding enemies and sends them flying. The vortex also neutralizes incoming ranged attacks, and bringing it into contact with a flame turns the whirlwind into a scorching cyclone.
4 Earth Shakers

Earth Shakers summon a pair of massive hammers that tear through enemy stamina, shields, and armor. You can also charge the attack before releasing it.
5 Firebird Flute

The Firebird Flute is found inside a chest there, which makes it another Armament that can be easy to walk past if you tunnel-vision onto the objective marker.
This magical flute summons flaming birds that attack nearby enemies and set them ablaze. Its attacks can hit up to three targets and stagger them, giving you quite the useful crowd control option.
6 The Flashing Void
Flashing Void location. | Credits: CapcomThe Flashing Void is hidden in a cave around the Castle Courtyard of Mount Oe. Look for the small passage along the route to the castle and slide inside to reach the chest.
This Oni Armament unleashes a powerful lightning attack designed for heavy damage against individual targets. Its charged attack is particularly useful because time slows around you while you prepare it, giving you much more breathing room than the lengthy charge on some of the other weapons.
7 Still Water
Still Water location. | Credits: CapcomLike several of the later pickups in Onimusha: Way of the Sword, you will need to take a detour off your main path to find this final Oni Armament. In the Swamp of Arashiyama, make your way toward the northeastern corner of the area (marked on the map above) and open the chest there to claim Still Water.
Activating this Armament strengthens your blade and makes your hits spawn Purple Souls. Press the button again to end the effect and unleash a golden wave of sword energy, which deals additional damage and generates even more Purple Souls.
