All Neverness to Everness Characters Confirmed for Version 1.0

Neverness to Everness (NTE) is going to be one of the most popular gacha RPGs of 2026, with its blend of supernatural urban fantasy with a stylish cast of characters. The game is set in the city of Hethereau, and we have a lot of interesting characters to play as.

Hotta Studio will release the game next week on April 29, and of course, we can expect Version 1.0 to deliver a roster of new characters. Some of the characters will be fully playable at launch, while others have only appeared in trailers, betas, or official previews and are expected to arrive shortly after.

Let’s take a look at all confirmed Neverness to Everness characters so far, and what we know about them from all the pre-release info.

All Confirmed Neverness to Everness Characters

Zero (Protagonist)

Zero is the main character of NTE and will be the one you follow throughout the story. Available in both male and female forms, Zero is an S-class Cosmos character and is a DPS unit. As the main character of your story in Hethereau, Zero is both narratively important and combat-ready from the start.

Baicang

Baicang is an S-class Incantation character and a captain within the Bureau of Anomaly Control. Known for his laidback personality and occasional troublemaking, he blends melee combat with spellcasting, making him a versatile damage dealer.

Chiz

Chiz is an S-class Cosmos character that you’ll find early in the game near Pink Paws Bank. She has a shy demeanor and is tied to progression systems, as players can unlock her by advancing their city level.

Daffodill

Daffodill is an S-class Chaos character and a bodyguard at Eibon Antique Shop. Quiet and easily flustered, she stands out for her unique aesthetic—particularly her collection of eyepatches—and her strong damage capabilities.

Fadia

Fadia is an S-class Psyche unit affiliated with the Bureau of Anomaly Control. She has a dangerous reputation and excels in survival-focused combat roles, making her valuable in tougher encounters.

Hathor

Hathor is an S-class Lakshana character working as a courier for Sterry Express. Though she may seem cold at first glance, her reserved personality hides a dependable ally with strong buffing or damage potential.

Jiuyuan

An S-class Anima character, Jiuyuan remains somewhat mysterious. She is believed to be connected to Sterry Express and is recognized for her elegant design and combat prowess.

Lacrimosa

Lacrimosa is an S-class Chaos character from the Bureau of Anomaly Control. Often seen tired, she prefers summoning constructs to fight on her behalf, giving her a unique playstyle centered around indirect combat.

Nanally

Nanally is an S-class Anima character and one of the first featured limited banner units at launch. Known for her combat experience and reliability, she also plays a key role in early anomaly containment operations.

Sakiri

An S-class Incantation character, Sakiri works at Eibon Antique Shop. She is quirky and innocent, but her monstrous companion Kiroumaru adds an unpredictable edge to her combat abilities.

Hotori

Hotori is an S-class Cosmos character and the owner of Eibon Antique Shop. While she was not playable during beta, she is expected to appear in an early limited banner after launch, making her a highly anticipated unit.

Adler

Adler, also known as Alois V. Adler, is an A-class Incantation character and the butler of Eibon Antique Shop. Calm and composed, he specializes in survival roles and provides stability to any team.

Edgar

Edgar is an A-class Cosmos character with a mature personality despite his youthful appearance. He is another member of the antique shop team and offers supportive capabilities in combat.

Haniel

Haniel is an A-class Psyche character and a social media-savvy courier for Sterry Express. She is particularly important because she is available for free if the game reaches its pre-registration milestone.

Mint

Mint is an A-class Anima character from the Bureau of Anomaly Control. Though often tricked by anomalies, she is determined to improve and become a top-tier agent. Her dual-blade combat style focuses on damage.

Skia

Skia is an A-class Lakshana character and a lieutenant within the Bureau of Anomaly Control. With his non-human appearance and shadow-based abilities, he adds diversity to the roster.

Aurelia

Aurelia is an A-class Psyche character who enjoys observing the sea. While she struggles to stick to hobbies, she brings a calm, reflective presence and contributes solid damage output.

Additional and Upcoming Characters

These characters have been revealed through trailers, previews, or beta content but may not all be playable at launch:

Akane

A briefly seen character during livestreams and beta quests, Akane remains largely unknown but is expected to play a role in future updates.

Black Bird

Recognizable by her large hat, Black Bird has appeared in promotional material and beta gameplay, hinting at a future playable release.

Chaos

A masked member of the Bureau of Anomaly Control, Chaos has yet to be fully revealed in terms of abilities or rarity.

Elyms

Elyms is as a lieutenant in ETD-6 within the Bureau. While her gameplay details are scarce, her role suggests she will be important later.

Exe

Exe is another high-ranking Bureau member, likely an S-class character based on his position. His mechanical arm hints at a unique combat style.

Iroi

A member of CSU-2, Iroi has been shown in trailers but remains largely unexplored in terms of gameplay.

Lingko

Lingko is often seen alongside her anomaly companion Xiaozhen, suggesting a duo-based combat mechanic.

Nitsa

Nitsa is part of the Bureau’s reserve forces and has only briefly appeared so far.

Shinku

Very little is known about Shinku beyond her affiliation with the Bureau of Anomaly Control.

Unnamed Male Character

This mysterious character appeared briefly in a trailer. His role and playability remain uncertain.

Unnamed Villain

A white-haired swordswoman seen fighting Zero in promotional material, she appears to be a major antagonist. Whether she becomes playable is still unknown.

How to Get Characters in Neverness to Everness

Neverness to Everness is a gacha game, and as such, you’ll need to follow the gacha mechanics to get new characters. You can also get new characters from progression rewards and limited-time events. Compared to many other gacha games, NTE has a slightly more forgiving and interactive system.

Gacha System (Scarborough Fair Boards)

The primary method for obtaining characters is through the game’s gacha system, known as the Scarborough Fair Board. Instead of simple pulls, this system plays like a board game where you roll dice and land on reward tiles.

There are two main banner types:

• Standard Board: Includes permanent S-rank and A-rank characters.
• Limited Boards: Feature specific S-rank characters for a limited time.

The pity system is relatively generous:

• Every 10 pulls guarantees at least an A-rank reward.
• Around 70 pulls introduces increased chances for the featured unit.
• At 90 pulls, you are guaranteed the limited character with no 50/50 mechanic.

Additionally, special tiles on the board can directly grant characters or significantly increase your chances, making the system feel more dynamic than traditional gachas.

Story and Progression Rewards

Not all characters require luck to obtain. Some are tied directly to gameplay progression:

• Chiz can be unlocked by increasing your City Tycoon level.
• Other characters may become available as you progress through the main story or complete specific milestones.

This ensures that even free-to-play players can build a solid roster without relying entirely on the gacha system.

Pre-Registration Rewards

NTE also has pre-registration milestones that you can claim. If the game reaches 30 million sign-ups, all players will receive Haniel for free at launch. This gives everyone access to a reliable support unit from day one.

Limited-Time Events and Banners

Events and limited banners play a major role in expanding your roster:

• Nanally is the first featured S-rank character on a limited banner running from launch (April 29, 2026) through mid-May.
• Hotori is expected to headline a banner shortly after, making her one of the first post-launch additions.

Keeping track of banner schedules is essential if you want specific characters, especially since pity progress carries over between banners.
