Seven years after Sheldon Cooper said his last “Bazinga,” The Big Bang Theory is doing something that would make even Sheldon’s ego look modest. According to FlixPatrol, Chuck Lorre‘s sitcom holds seven of Vudu’s top 10 spots in the United States today (April 25, 2026) – the only show breaking the streak is The Office, which appears twice.

Even after losing the title of most-streamed show of 2025 to Bluey, a children’s cartoon about a dog family (via THR), it’s back to owning the charts. 279 episodes, zero new content since 2019, and it’s still everywhere!

For the week of March 23-29, 2026, The Big Bang Theory ranked #9 on Nielsen‘s overall streaming chart with 680 million minutes watched. It’s next to Beauty in Black, The Pitt, Virgin River, all active shows with new episodes dropping. The Madison had 6 episodes and 921 million minutes behind a full Paramount+ push. Anaconda is a brand new Netflix movie. One Piece at #10 has one of the most algorithmically boosted fanbases on the internet right now.

Every show around it has something working in its favor – a new season, a marketing campaign, a platform throwing money at it. The Big Bang Theory has over 200 episodes, one platform, and nothing new since 2019. It still pulled more minutes than One Piece. And here’s the kicker: NCIS, which has 501 episodes spread across four platforms simultaneously, didn’t even make the overall top 10. The Big Bang Theory did it on HBO Max alone.

Why The Big Bang Theory Still Outperforms New Shows Years Later

You can drop into any Big Bang Theory episode without remembering a single plot point from the season before. No recaps needed, no “previously on.” Just Sheldon being Sheldon and humor that hasn’t aged a day. In an era where every new show punishes you for missing an episode, that’s genuinely refreshing.
