We’re getting into the second half of the week, and the LinkedIn Games are certainly making it clear. Today, we’ll be doing the games for Thursday, July 30, 2026, and while most of the puzzles are still simple and fun, they did sneak in some tough ones too. LinkedIn Patches Solution for July 30, 2026 (#135)

We finally have a somewhat challenging Patches puzzle today. There are still a ton of numbers, but the exact shapes aren’t as easy as usual.

Here’s the full solution for today’s puzzle:

• Yellow: Make a square with four spaces in the top left of the puzzle.
• Purple: Make a horizontal line with six spaces in Row 1.
• Red: Make a horizontal rectangle with six spaces in Rows 2 and 3.
• Green: Make a square with nine spaces in Rows 2, 3, and 4.
• Sky Blue: Make a vertical rectangle with twelve spaces in Columns 1 and 2.
• Orange: Make a horizontal line with two spaces in Row 4.
• Deep Blue: Make a horizontal rectangle with eight spaces in Rows 5 and 6.

The Zip today is a pretty fun one, very easy too. There are only four points, but the path is a little tricky. First, go right to the edge through point 2, up once, left once, up once, right once, up once, left twice, down twice, left once, up twice, left once, down twice, left once, up twice, left once, down four times through point 3, right once, down once, left once, down once, right twice, up twice, right once, down twice, right once, up twice, right once, down twice, right once, and up twice into point 4 to finish the puzzle.

The theme for today’s Mini Sudoku is P=Puzzled, and there are twelve prefilled answers on the grid.

Here’s the solution for today’s LinkedIn Crossclimb:

1. Extremely serious, like some consequences: DIRE
2. Large group of animals like cows or sheep: HERD
3. Employ for a job: HIRE
4. Challenge someone to complete a task: DARE
5. In this location: HERE

Before finding the last two words, you’ll need to arrange the first five in this order: DARE, DIRE, HIRE, HERE, HERD.

The hint for the last two words is: A compound word for the physical components of a computer. As always, keep in mind that either word can be at the top or bottom, depending on how you arranged the words.

And the last two words are: HARD and WARE.

LinkedIn Pinpoint Solution for July 30, 2026 (#821)

The Pinpoint is a weird one today. The first hint is Iron, and the answer is not clear at all here. The second answer is Wood, and even here, I don’t think there will be many who can guess it.

The third hint is Wedge, and this is where I think that people who are very familiar with the topic will get it. The fourth hint is Driver, and if you know the topic, this should make the answer clearer. The last hint is Putter, and the answer is: Types of golf club!
