Caiman’s search for the person who transformed him into a reptile leads through a society built on cruelty, mutilation, and casual murder. The series becomes especially disturbing when powerful adults manipulate his emotional immaturity and weaponize his desire for intimacy. Needless to say, it’s one of the best anime by MAPPA.
