Well, James Gunn might be fulfilling Warner Bros.’ dream that is more than two decades old. The idea of a live-action Batman Beyond movie has been pitched and developed since the time of Michael Keaton.

However, if the movie were to get a live-action adaptation, we think these actors could potentially be a great choice for portraying the role of Terry McGinnis.

Although a Batman Beyond live-action might still be a long way off, there are several actors who would make a good fit for the role of Terry McGinnis. Although Xolo Maridueña already portrayed the role of Blue Beetle in the DCEU, he would be a good fit for Terry McGinnis.

Alongside Maridueña, Tanner Buchanan, who is known for his role in Cobra Kai, could also make a moody and brooding presence in the DCU. Other names like Jack Dylan Grazer (Shazam!), Asher Angel (Billy Batson in Shazam!), and Percy Hynes White might portray a good Terry McGinnis in the future.

To add more popular names, Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things could also pull off the sarcastic side of Terry, but he’s less of a physical action fit. Of course, we still don’t have confirmation on who will be portraying the role of Batman in the DCU.

When do you think we will get a live-action Batman Beyond adaptation? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
