In a twist on the conventional care package, an adult content creator has launched an unconventional morale effort for troops stationed overseas. Madelynn May, an OnlyFans performer with a large social media following, has begun assembling and shipping packages filled with both practical items and access to her own content as a way to offer "distraction and stress relief" to deployed U.S. service members.
May's idea originated from casual conversation with a comedian and military veteran, Jason Vest. When Vest mentioned the low morale many soldiers were experiencing while deployed, May joked about creating a kind of lighthearted infomercial to help relieve stress.
"We joked about doing an infomercial like, 'You guys are going to need someone to relieve stress to. But then I thought - what if we actually did it?," said May.
Instead of letting it remain just an idea, she floated the concept to her Instagram audience, inviting service members to comment "care package" if they wanted one - and was quickly overwhelmed by responses.
What began as a playful thought soon turned into a handson project. May flew Vest to Las Vegas to help work on fulfilling requests, and the pair began putting together care packages that combine everyday comforts like chapstick and mints with risqu additions.
Each parcel also contains a QR code granting free access to May's OnlyFans content and printed photos, merging traditional morale-boosting items with NSFW offerings.
Different kind of support for troops
The unconventional care packages may raise eyebrows, but May insists they are shipped in accordance with military postal regulations and are intended to provide a genuine pickmeup for service members stationed far from home.
She has already invested roughly $1,000 of her own money and prepared around 20 care packages to send to troops in the Middle East and other regions.
May characterizes her effort not as a publicity stunt but as something rooted in personal history. Growing up in a military family, her father was a Marine, she says she has long understood the pressures that come with service life, and that many of her friends and former partners have worn a uniform.
Despite varied opinions from the public, the effort has drawn attention for blending traditional troop support with a bold, modern twist. If successful, May's project could inspire other content creators to think differently about how to boost morale for military personnel stationed around the world.
