Jeremy Renner is one of the most versatile actors to come out of Hollywood, with the MCU having snagged that actor early on for Thor, way back in 2011. While the actor was cast as Hawkeye in the MCU, fans have always wondered why the actor was not allowed to do more, given the acting chops that Renner has displayed in parts of his career

Fans on Reddit have wondered why the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has neglected Renner’s contribution to one of the most profitable IPs to come out of Hollywood. Taking to the internet, fans have heaped praises on the Avengers: Endgame alum for all the great work that he has done both inside and outside the franchise.

Reddit has been filled with praise for Jeremy Renner for his contributions to some of the most popular franchises to come out of Hollywood. Be it Mission Impossible, The Bourne Series, or the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jeremy Renner has always been able to deliver great performances regardless of the role he is given.

Jeremy Renner was especially appreciated for his work as Hawkeye, though a lot of fans feel that he should have been given way more to do in the MCU. While the actor got his own show that introduced Kate Bishop to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor still has a lot of potential, given that Hawkeye is one of the few remaining Avengers who can help usher in the age of new heroes.

Given that Kamala Khan is assembling a team of young superheroes as The Marvels, it can be assumed that the Avengers are not going to send children into battle. If anything, the Young Avengers could serve more as a training program for young heroes, which Hawkeye could helm as a den mother.

While these young heroes are trained by SHIELD, Hawkeye could serve as a representative of the Avengers to make sure that they are well taken care of, given that the hero has had his share of trauma and is looking to redeem himself after the death of Natasha Romanoff and his actions as Ronin between Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Hawkeye can be streamed on Disney+.
