Tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW ended on a high note with Roman Reigns returning after a month from his injury. His return greatly assisted The Usos in picking up the crucial win against The Vision, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, as he leveled them with a steel chair. What caught the attention of the fans is how he hyped up Jey Uso following the match. Check out the clip below:
"F*ck them all. It's only about you. This is the only thing that ever mattered. You gonna take it." – Roman Reigns
ROMAN REIGNS HYPING UP JEY USO 👀🔥#WWERaw
The moment looked surprising as The OTC embraced The Yeet Master in a heartfelt moment and shared a few words with him. Reigns said,
This is your show, f**k them all. It’s only about you. This is the only thing that ever mattered. You gonna take it.
The moment has once again sparked curiosity among fans as Jey Uso was getting manipulated by every single word, as he kept repeating, “Smash them all.” With Reigns’ return, he will once again fill Jey Uso’s head with words that made him exhibit the behavior of The Tribal Chief when The Bloodline Saga began.
Roman Reigns’ Return Builds Tension Between Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso
Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso have been having tensions with each other for quite some time. It was evident in last week’s RAW, when he abandoned his brother, who wanted to help LA Knight from The Vision. In the most recent segment of the Red Brand, during a backstage segment (via X), The former World Heavyweight Champion belittled his brother, Big Jim, as they argued about LA Knight. He said,
I said, ‘No Help!’ You know why? Because no one give a damn. I did what I had to do. Man, I went out there, bodied LA Knight, got the “W,” that’s it. Mission accomplished. Maybe if I did more of that. I’d be World Heavyweight Champ by now. But guess what? That’s something you don’t get.
The Yeet Man asked his brother to change the focus from The Megastar to handling business with The Vision, marking the end of the backstage segment. In the final moments of the show, Roman Reigns celebrated the victory of The Usos only with Jey Uso, completely sidelining Big Jim from the picture.

Although the older Uso did not say a word, he was not impressed by the confrontation, as his facial expressions sent the message loud and clear. This has made us certain that The Head of the Table has become the mentor of the younger Uso and is molding him so that he can take on the role of the next Tribal Chief.
While things seemed bleak till now, the return of Roman Reigns has made it clear that it is only a matter of time before Jey Uso turns his back on the WWE fans.
Jey Uso’s Heel Turn Makes Him Appear Like a Knockoff of Roman Reigns

WWE has been foreshadowing the heel turn of Jey Uso, and it first started when Jey Uso received a word of advice from Roman Reigns. During the backstage segment (via YouTube), The Grand Slam Champion told The Right Hand Man that he should not be caring about receiving “help” and he has “helped enough people.”
He continued, telling him to start doing things for himself, and he should “smash them all” so that he can capture these “moments” and “locking in our legacy.” Since then, he has not been feeling ucey, surprising Big Jim as he sounded like their cousin. However, the idea of Jey Uso going heel does not seem to be appealing like John Cena or even Roman Reigns.
For starters, The Yeet Man is a popular name among the fans, and making him a heel would immensely hurt the business. But more importantly, his character looks like a copied version of Reigns, showcasing similar behavior and repeating the same phrases that have been told to him. The lack of originality and depth is another reason that has failed to make the heel turn more intriguing.
Though the desperation to reclaim his title and the need for power are good enough reasons, an unoriginal character makes him appear like a wannabe Roman Reigns. Thus, ruining the storytelling that has been told for weeks.
Clearly, Roman Reigns wants Jey Uso to succeed him as the next Tribal Chief, but do you think he has what it takes to match the same aura that was once emitted by Reigns in his prime? Let us know in the comments below!
