The aircraft, which had been headed for Phoenix, Ariz., landed at YVR safely, and passengers were escorted off the plane before the aircraft was towed to a gate, said Chloe Reynaud, a spokesperson for YVR.

Reynaud said YVR Fire and Rescue assisted with the deplaning “out of an abundance of caution.”

Flights continued to arrive and depart from YVR as usual.
