Cops said on Saturday, officers responded to a residence in the area of Prince William Dr. and Swansea Rd. after three masked suspects allegedly showed up at the home and demanded to speak with the victim.
When officers arrived, they located the trio in front of the residence and arrested them. Cops alleged that one suspect was found in possession of a replica firearm.
Through the investigation, it was determined that the incident was connected to an ongoing extortion and investigators believe that an individual was being targeted for a kidnapping.
Jerimyah Brown-Watson, 19, along with a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male, have all been charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, disguise with intent, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The investigation is ongoing.
