Nielsen has recently revealed the most-streamed TV series of 2026 so far, giving viewers a clearer picture of which shows are dominating across streaming and television platforms (via Variety). Netflix is leading the charts, with several of its original series securing spots in the top 10 most-streamed shows of the year, highlighting the platform’s strong hold on audience attention.
Paramount+ has also made a major impact with popular shows such as Tracker and Landman, gaining impressive viewership numbers. The rankings are based on Nielsen’s multiplatform measurement system, which tracks audiences across streaming, broadcast, DVR, and delayed viewing over a 35-day period after release.
This method allows for a fair comparison between streaming and traditional TV shows. However, the chart only includes data up to mid-April, meaning some newer shows still airing fresh episodes in May could see their numbers change in the coming weeks. Here are the most-streamed shows of 2026 so far and the viewership numbers behind their success.
