A cop was injured while pursuing a robbery suspect onto the subway tracks at a downtown TTC station early Saturday.

Toronto Police say a TTC user was robbed while waiting on the subway platform for a train at Bloor-Yonge Station around 1 a.m.
Officers responded and a foot pursuit ensued as a suspect took off along the subway tracks.
A 30-year-old man was located and arrested, police said Saturday in a post on X, adding a gun was also seized.

One of the responding officers was injured while taking the suspect into custody on track level, police said.
However, the officer’s injury is not considered serious.
There was no immediate word on what was taken during the alleged robbery or what charges the suspect will face.
