To do so, it would be wise to start by collecting Bloodstone Ores, which are one of the most important crafting materials in the game, and knowing exactly where to farm them efficiently will make your gameplay experience much smoother.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the top five best Bloodstone farming locations across Pywel, along with what exactly the Bloodstone ore is used for.

It is easier than anything to hit a wall while trying to upgrade your gear past the early levels. And to get over it, you’ll need the Bloodstone ore, one of the most sought-after crafting materials in the whole game. Unfortunately, unlike iron or copper, this one is not that easy to find.

You’ll find Bloodstone embedded inside cliff walls and rocks in the game, and to mine it properly, you’ll need to use your pickaxe. To make sure you are not spending all of your time just finding this ore, the following are the five best farming spots:

5. Rocca’s Hill Ravine, East of Hernand

Want an easy time out of the early-game phase in Crimson Desert? Then it’s your chance to head towards Rocca’s Hill Ravine, found east of Rocca’s Hill, where the player will be able to spot five Bloodstone veins spread vertically and embedded in the cliffside near the top of the eastern hills.

4. Haunted Hills, North of Hernand

Still not satisfied? Feel free to head to the Haunted Hills POI, found to the north of Hernand, where you can find a few more Bloodstone ores, which can be further used for upgrading your equipment. Your route should kick off at the North Hernand Watchtower, with your character moving northwest until they hit a Bloodstone vein located at the base of a cliff.

3. Anvil Hill Ravine, East of Anvil Hill

The Anvil Hill region is not only good for Bloodstone ore, but for other materials as well. And to get your hands on some of that sweet red crafting material, start by heading east of Anvil Hill and then north of the river to find a Ravine with Bloodstone waiting for you at its deepest end.

2. Tashkalp Town/ Crimson Desert Region

The game makes it easier to find Bloodstone ore once you are finally out of Hernand. One of the most rewarding regions to find this particular crafting material is the namesake area, Crimson Desert. There is more than just one cluster of this ore to be found in the area, especially to the south of Tashkalp town, and additionally, on the main road that heads north toward Trader’s Expanse.

1. Delesyia Cliffs, West of Delesyia Town

For players who are now well-ventured into Pywel, the cliffs found just west of Delesyia Town are one of the best regions to go around if you are looking for the Bloodstone ore late in the game. As with many other locations, the material here can be found embedded in the rocks along the cliff walls, making them easier to spot and mine for convenience.

In simple words, the Bloodstone ore is one of the most essential items found in the whole of Crimson Desert. It is a crafting material that can be used to upgrade weapons and armor at the blacksmith, and is pretty much non-negotiable to obtain unless you are planning on a no-upgrade challenge run.

It’s also important to note that the first few refinements on your weapons will often require other common materials like iron and copper, and it will not be before Level 4, or after, that you finally start requiring the Bloodstone ore as a necessary material to upgrade your equipment.

Bloodstone doesn’t have to be the bottleneck that holds your build back. With these five locations, you’ll always know exactly where to head whenever your upgrade queue runs dry.
