Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood reportedly met back in 1987, but the two were with other people at the time. According to US Weekly, Brooks said that when he met her, he felt like he had met his wife even though he had been married for more than a year at the time. Brooks was reportedly helpful in kickstarting Yearwood’s career.

Brooks and Yearwood got married in 2005, four years after his divorce from his first wife Sandy Hahl. Brooks credited Yearwood for coming into his life and helping him out, as he was at his lowest point, away from his partner and being a father to his daughters. People thought well, two celebrities who are in the same business, they won’t last…I’m invested in this family, this is what I want for myself, and no offense to anything else in my past, but I get it, I get it now and this is what I want. So we just earn it. Day by day.

The couple reportedly also mentioned that the secret to making their now 19-year marriage work is that they do everything together. From domestic and leisure activities to work and charity, the couple have done everything together.

Earlier this month, Garth Brooks was accused of s*xual assault and battery by a former employee. According to CNN from 2017 to 2019. The incident reportedly took place in 2019 in a hotel room while the two were traveling.

Brooks has allegedly denied the accusations and has reportedly countersued Roe. The singer had also reportedly filed a complaint blocking her from going public with the allegations. He reportedly said that Roe and her attorney had attempted to extort him with these allegations previously as well.

While Trisha Yearwood has not given an official statement, a source close to the family reportedly told Daily Mail that she and Brooks’ daughters believe him. The source said,
