It was over a decade ago that YG Entertainment’s K-pop girl group, Blackpink made their highly publicized debut, since then there has been no looking back for the four-member group as they have literally taken over the world with their talent and genius. Comprised of Lisa, Jennie, Rosé, and Jisoo, the group boasts millions of fan following from across the world.

Despite not being active as a group since their Born Pink Tour they continue to rise in the ranks, with many making their way to the world of acting, fashion, and entertainment, remaining unstoppable. But when it comes to being the richest Blackpink member, surprisingly she is not the most popular member of the group.

Blackpink debuted back in August 2016, comprising three overseas members and one South Korean member. While three of the members are ethnically South Korean, Lisa hails from Thailand and is coincidentally also the most popular member of the K-pop girl group.

Widely hailed as one of the best and most impressive girl groups of all time, the group has broken several world records and charted music charts across the world. But not each member enjoys the same level of fame or popularity. Having auditioned in 2010, at the age of 13, the singer and soon-to-be-actress started as a trainee in 2011, before debuting in 2016.

In 2021, when she made her solo debut with the album and single LALISA, it became the most-viewed video by a solo artist in 24 hours with 73.6 million views, breaking Taylor Swift’s record (via NME). Soon to make her acting debut in the series White Lotus, Lisa has 104 million followers on Instagram, the most in her group. She further has about 11.7 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, less than Jennie’s 11.9 million.

Meanwhile, as for the other Blackpink members Jennie has 85.5 million followers on Instagram, Rosé has about 80.2 million followers on Instagram and 9.05 million subscribers on YouTube, and Jisoo ranks the last with 79.6 million on Instagram and 5.21 million on YouTube.

Who is the Richest Blackpink Member?

Naturally one would think that the richest Blackpink member would be Lisa, since she is also the most popular of the group members. However, that is far from the case since the richest member is the group’s least famous, aka Jisoo. Hailing from South Korea, the singer has long been active in the field of entertainment and has quite a bit of experience in acting as well.

While fans loved her in the tragic Kdrama Snowdrop, she has made appearances in several other projects, adding significantly to her net worth. Apart from earning huge sums from their group activities world tours and merchandise, the singer-actress has also earned significant money from solo music ventures and her collaboration with the fashion brand Dior.

Currently having a net worth of over $20 million, she is not only Dior’s global ambassador but also Cartier’s. She also is involved with the Korean cosmetic brand Kiss Me and is singlehandedly responsible for generating millions of worth of revenue for several brands.

Meanwhile, the other Blackpink members have more or less had similar ventures, collaborating with several iconic fashion brands.
