The Tarnished will have to do some fiddling to reach the arena starting from the Grand Cloister at the Lake of Rot. Players have gotten used to leaping from one ledge to another to descend to the lower levels until they come across a coffin that will teleport them to a secret location with a fog wall where Astel, Naturalborn of the Void will be waiting.

How to Prepare to Fight the Astel, Naturalborn of the Void?

This Astel variant at the Grand Cloister is designed with a visible weak spot on the center of its head. Elden Ring players can focus their attacks on that spot with a few magic and ranged attacks. It is worth noting that the Tarnished should have a high level and a good loadout before stepping into the fog wall.

The fight is hosted at a large arena which works in the favor of both players and the enemy boss to have enough room to move around. Players can exploit the weaknesses of this powerful enemy by using Poison Mist and Rotten Breath to inflict Scarlet Rot.
