Before P Diddy’s arrest in September, jailed Death Row Records co-founder Suge Knight claimed that the Last Night singer was an FBI informant. Knight shared that it was the reason why most of Diddy’s crimes remained under wraps for a long time. However, the detective involved in the Tupac Shakur case is calling out Knight’s claim to be bogus.
Knight has been in the spotlight for some time now due to his shocking revelations surrounding Diddy and his crimes. However, former detective Greg Kading believes that Knight is a hypocrite whose claims should be taken with a grain of salt.
The detective on the Tupac Shakur case calls out Suge Knight for claims of Diddy being an FBI informant
The detective on the Tupac Shakur case, Greg Kading, answered some questions for Sit Down with Michael Franzese podcast. When asked about the jailed music mogul Suge Knight and his claims of Diddy being an informant, Kading shared that Knight’s claims should be taken with a grain of salt.
Kading went on to share that “nobody lies more than Suge Knight.” He shared that Knight was one of the biggest hypocrites while dealing with the Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls murder cases. He shared that Knight’s claims were all based on hearsay and speculation. Kading further called him out for making accusations at random people. Kading shared in the podcast:
Kading further shared that he himself had gone through records of the investigation against Diddy. He shared that his task force took the help of Eric Henderson, who headed the investigation into Bad Boy Records that went all the way back to the ’90s.
He shared that he had gone through every single paper of the documents and didn’t find any proof of Diddy being an FBI informant. Kading added that P Diddy never was an informant because he never provided any information on the cases that the task force approached him for.
What was Suge Knight’s claim against Diddy?
During his podcast Collect Call with Suge Knight, the Death Row Records co-founder shared that Diddy’s alleged misbehavior went unnoticed for one reason (via Marca). He shared, “Naturally, Puffy (Diddy) been an FBI informant forever, as they would say. That’s why it’s different when it comes to him.”
Suge further shared during the podcast that Diddy’s close circle and many celebrities also knew about his alleged actions. He revealed:
Knight shared at the time that despite Diddy’s alleged connection to the FBI, he was destined for prison, just like him. Knight’s words about Diddy ending up in prison turned true as the hip-hop mogul is currently in the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center awaiting trial. He is charged on three counts, including s*x trafficking and racketeering.
