The final episode had a gruesome ending, but the post-credit scene perfectly sets up the future of the show. Fans are very eager to see what happens next and especially what James Gunn has hidden away for the future. Anyway, let’s dive into what happens in the post-credit scene and how it impacts the upcoming season.

What happens in Creature Commandos episode 7 post-credit scene

The final episode of Creature Commandos was action-packed with a dramatic end to an insane season. Midway through the episode, The Bride repeatedly shoots Eric Frankenstein and supposedly kills him. It is only in the post-credit scene that we see Eric Frankenstein is still alive after being saved by a lovely old lady.

In the scene, we see Eric eat soup with the old lady while he tells her the story of his love, The Bride. He proves to be deeply delusional when he makes excuses for her trying to kill him.

His thoughts about The Bride’s love for him are reinforced because of this incident. Given what Eric did to Bogdana, there is no doubt that he will ruthlessly kill the old lady being a motherly figure to him just like Bogdana was.

However, this confirms Eric Frankenstein’s involvement in season 2 of Creature Commandos so he may try and win The Bride’s love. The post-credit scene also gives us a glimpse of Eric Frankenstein and The Bride’s true powers.

At the show’s start, both characters were hyped up and said to be of similar power levels. So, if Eric with his super-regenerative abilities can heal from such severe wounds, The Bride should also be able to. Hence, they are near-immortal characters that may play a big role in James Gunn’s DCU.

4/5

Mid start, fantastic middle, and a pretty decent ending. The last scene before the credits was awesome. Solid start to the DCU! But remember, it is a "soft launch" for a reason. pic.twitter.com/6HdwG6bvrT
