Part of the reason why he ended up being so famous and one of the richest rappers in the world is his music label Bad Boy Records, which helped propel several musicians to acclaim. However, recently one of the rappers associated with him accused him of not paying them well and exploiting them.

Diddy once used to be one of the biggest rappers in the world, while he is still rich enough and making enough money, his name no longer inspires awe and respect among the hearts and minds of fans. Now he is just another A-list celebrity currently accused of some of the most heinous crimes known to humanity.

While such allegations continue to surface, there are other details about his lifestyle that continue to shock fans. Recently one of the rappers associated with Bad Boys Records’ former hip-hop group, Da Band revealed how the music mogul used them for money. In an interview with The Art of Dialogue, the rapper Chopper revealed:

[Diddy] Didn’t give us a million a piece, didn’t give us a $100,000 a piece… Because you gotta understand though, when we came out bro, we was an experiment for him and MTV… didn’t know it was gonna blow up…

While Chopper stated that he couldn’t really bash Diddy since his ‘experiment’ ended up changing his life, he did remark that he was more than upset when getting to know Diddy had made $30 million from Da Band and just gave them crumbs.

The murders of Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G. continue to be two of the most controversial and harrowing cases in the world of entertainment. Allegedly a product of East Coast-West Coast rivalry, B.I.G was signed up with Bad Boy Records while Shakur was with Los Angeles-based Death Row Records.

In his talk with the Art of Dialogue, rapper Chopper revealed that Diddy secretly harbored a dislike for Shakur. When asked about his musical inspirations, Chopper named Shakur as one of them, which reportedly led to the music mogul not talking with the young rapper for four days or so— That n**ga didn’t talk to me for like four f**king days after.

Moreover, as Chopper revealed, Diddy did not like anyone comparing Shakur and Notorious B.I.G., who once used to be great friends before their careers came between them. ‘Everything was about Biggie. You couldn’t even put ‘Pac in the same sentence as him‘ stated Chopper as he went on to state that Diddy allegedly hated Shakur and everything about him.
