Everyone knows Harrison Ford has a bit of a reputation in Hollywood, and no, we aren’t talking about his exceptional skills as an actor. Watching him in interviews, some might come to the conclusion that the veteran actor is shy and reserved when it comes to promoting his films and that he might have a bit of social anxiety. Harrison Ford would beg to differ, but more on that later. For now, let’s focus on how much of a badass the man is.

Harrison Ford joined the Yellowstone universe as Jacob Dutton, the patriarch of the Dutton family in 1923. In order to get accustomed to the world of the West, Harrison Ford had to go through something called a Cowboy Camp where they cleansed themselves from the city’s ways. Co-star Brandon Sklenar recalled how the 80-year-old actor came in like a pro and was an absolute menace on the set of 1923.

Given the fact that Harrison Ford is in his early eighties, some might come up with the wrong conclusion that the man is done shocking us with his roles. However, Ford has made it quite clear that retirement is not an option for him. Not for a long, long time, at least.

During an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, Brandon Sklenar, who plays Ford’s nephew on the show, had nothing but praise for the actor. Talking about the Cowboy Camp and how “everyone in the Yellowstone universe” has to go through it, Sklenar recalled how Ford walked into the fields as a complete professional.

When asked if he got to see the actor rope cattle and stuff, Sklenar replied, “He came in pretty knowledgeable. He came in with his own saddle.” Calling him “tough as nails,” the It Ends with Us actor continued,

That guy’s tough as nails. I mean, it was -15 in Montana and he’s out there on a horse. Never forgets a line. The guy’s just like a legend in terms of being a professional working actor.

From bringing his own saddle to camp like a pro to remembering all his lines with ease, Ford has proven that there is nothing in this world that can stop him from being the best at what he does, not even freezing weather. The perfect role model for the Dutton family!

Harrison Ford opens up about his “grumpy” demeanor

Aside from his badassery both on the screen and behind the scenes, Ford has built himself a reputation for being a “grump” when it comes to promoting his films. Whether it’s a bit he does or he is simply over the attention, we don’t know.

During his appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, he refused the idea of him being grumpy stating, “That’s horse sh*t.” Well, he always keeps it real, that’s for sure.

While talking to The Hollywood Reporter, he was told how the Internet has come to the conclusion that he must have social anxiety. He replied, “Sh*t, that sounds like something a psychiatrist would say, not a casual observer.”

Ford added, “No. I don’t have a social anxiety disorder. I have an abhorrence of boring situations.”

Well, there you have it. If you don’t want Ford to appear grumpy while he is in conversation with you, make sure you don’t bore him!
