Silent Hill 2 Remake: Solving the Blue Creek Apartments Clock Puzzle

Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake features numerous areas and a significant number of puzzles to solve. By solving them, you will unlock new areas and aspects of the game. In the Bluecreek Apartments section, you’ll find several puzzles to solve, but one of the most important is the clock puzzle.

This is a guide on how to solve the clock puzzle in Silent Hill 2. This particular puzzle is quite complicated due to the time limit and the considerable distance you’ll need to travel to solve it.

Starting to Solve the Clock Puzzle in Silent Hill 2

The first step to solving the clock puzzle in Silent Hill 2.

To begin solving the puzzle, you need to be on the third floor of the Bluecreek Apartments. Once you’re on this third floor, go to apartment 305 and turn the first valve. Be careful, as enemies will appear once you activate the valve. Next, head to apartment 304 and activate the other valve. Once it finishes discharging, you can take this valve with you.

Now, proceed to apartment 307, place the valve you obtained there, and turn the last valve to release the hour hand of the clock, allowing you to continue with the puzzle. To proceed, head to the second floor, where the clock is located in room 212.

Once you have placed the hour hand, move it to the number 9 to unlock door H on the same floor. You’ll know this has worked when the clock begins to make noise, at which point you should proceed to the door.

Continuing With the Second Part of This Puzzle

Once you unlock door H, enter the apartment and proceed to the kitchen, where you can breach the wall to gain access to the bathroom. To solve this puzzle, search the dirty toilet for the minute hand.

Again, you will need to go back to the second floor, where the clock is located in room 212. Then you should place the minute hand at the number 2. When you do this, the door with the letter M will automatically open. This way, you can continue progressing in this Silent Hill 2 puzzle.

The code for accessing this door will vary depending on the game’s difficulty level. For standard difficulty, it is 373; for light difficulty, it is 373; and for hard difficulty, it is 522. After unlocking the lock on this door, you can search inside a hole in the wall.

Going to Place the Second Hand

The last handle to solve the clock puzzle.

When you return to the clock on the second floor, you need to place the second hand at the number 3. This will automatically unlock the door with the letter S. Once you unlock the door with this letter, you will have finally completed the puzzle and can continue progressing with the game’s narrative and story.
