Sharon Stone’s sex life is in a bit of a slump.

The Oscar nominee may be famous for her sex symbol status, thanks to her leg-crossing shenanigans in Basic Instinct and erotic scenes in Sliver.

But that was decades ago, and Stone’s real life is no longer synonymous with that ‘90s persona.

“For quite a long time I’ve had no luck at all,” the actress told Mayim Bialik on her “Breakdown” podcast on Tuesday.

“I’ve been celibate for quite a while now because I’m just at the point where I really only want to be with someone that I care for.”

The mom of three explained that since becoming an empty-nester, she’s “kind of bored” with just having “someone to have sex with” and a “companion” is what she’s now looking for.

“I’m in the ‘no luck at all’ phase right now,” she shared, calling it “the phase you need to be willing to be in to have the thing that I really want.”

She first became a mom in 2000 when she and Bronstein adopted Roan, 26. She adopted Laird, 21, in 2005 and Quinn, 20, a year later.

“I have had loves in my life, but I don’t think I’ve had the great love of my life,” Stone admitted.

Cancer scare

In June, Stone revealed that Bronstein’s reaction to her wanting a mastectomy after learning she had tumours in her breasts was the beginning of the end of their marriage.

“One of them was bigger than the size of my entire left breast,” she recalled during an appearance on David Begnaud’s “The Person Who Believed In Me” podcast.

“And the doctor had come out to my house and said, ‘Look, we think you should have a bilateral mastectomy. This is really bad. And we usually, when they’re all the way up into here, we know before we go in that they’re cancer.’”

Stone opted to undergo the procedure but Bronstein called her decision “ridiculous.”

The last straw

The Total Recall actress said: “That was the end of the marriage. That was it. He was done with me then. It was over.”

As it turned out, the tumours were benign and she did not undergo a double mastectomy but Bronstein’s true colours were the last straw.

“It was just over in the room. You could just tell. It was over. It was just over,” she recounted. “He thought I was ridiculous. He thought it was foolish. He thought I was making too many decisions myself.”

The actress has since been famously single.

“I’m a really good girlfriend, but I haven’t been a girlfriend in a long time,” the Euphoria actress detailed. “And I’ve been a girlfriend to bad boyfriends, and I’ve been a girlfriend to good boyfriends.”

Stone laughed, adding: “I’ve had good luck and bad luck and no luck at all.”
