Prince Harry has made quite the public show of concern over his continued rift with other royal family members, openly calling for an end to the feud.

After his return to the UK with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, there were hopes it would lead to a proper reunion with the monarchy, but none of that has happened yet, with even King Charles reportedly keeping the Sussexes at a distance.

Now, sources claim Prince Harry fears his brother Prince William might be slowly influencing their father to cool off on any plans for reconciliation with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

A close source shared with the Examiner that Harry is worried his feud with William may have come with serious consequences, especially when it comes to his hopes of reestablishing a relationship with their father Charles.

The Duke of Sussex is said to be concerned that the future king might be “slowly turning” the monarch against him, and even go as far as convincing Charles to cut him out of his inheritance.

“He’s convinced William would love nothing more than to see him cut out completely, and the way Charles has been praising William lately has him very worried his brother is slowly turning his own father against him,” the source said.

The source’s claims fall in line with royal insider Kinsey Schofield‘s comments made in August. The expert shared that people in William’s circle were sure “money and inheritance” were part of the reason why Harry and Meghan returned to the UK.

However, according to the Examiner’s source, Harry insists money has nothing to do with his call for reconciliation with his family, “and by all accounts he genuinely does want a relationship with Charles.”

“But he’s also got Meghan and the children to think about, and naturally he wants to protect their future,” the source added.

This comes after reports claimed Harry and Meghan were bothered by William and Kate’s appearance at the London premiere of Tom Cruise’s “Digger.”

According to the news outlet, a source claimed the Sussexes viewed the Waleses’ friendly display with Cruise as deliberate.

“They are both convinced that William and Kate made an extra big show of their friendship with Tom Cruise to try and upset them, and it worked,” the insider claimed.

Their concern allegedly extends beyond being overshadowed at a glamorous event. The source said Harry and Meghan are worried about how they are viewed within influential celebrity circles in both Britain and the United States.

The insider even claimed the Sussexes are “very paranoid” about what William and Kate could be telling their famous acquaintances about them, and feel the Waleses may be “running a smear campaign against them.”

Cruise is not the only celebrity connection said to be bothering the Sussexes. William has continued attracting prominent names through his Earthshot Prize, further strengthening his links with figures outside traditional royal circles.

Robert Irwin, Simone Ashley and Rami Malek are among the celebrities expected at William’s Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony in Mumbai on November 27.

An insider claimed Harry and Meghan have interpreted William’s celebrity outreach as another source of competition.

The insider shared that the Sussexes believe those connections are William  trying to “one-up them” and that “he thinks it somehow proves he’s better.”

That perception appears to have added more severity to the longstanding tension between the two royal households.

The source also alleged that the Sussexes now fear they have become “persona non grata” in some elite circles. Due to their dwindling influence, watching William and Kate receive attention from major entertainment figures is said to be particularly frustrating for them.

“They’ve gone back to England with their tails between their legs, and they’re now having to watch William and Kate parading around on the red carpet like a couple of Hollywood stars,” the source noted.

“It was just so fun sitting there watching them watch it and for them to be part of it,” Cruise told Extra.

He went even further, saying he has “so much respect for them” and that “they are amazing people.” Cruise also described William and Kate as “beautiful people” who are “very funny.”
