Of course, Harry has bumped heads with his older brother several times over the last several years, but a new source says he’s ready to move forward.

According to The Examiner, the insider said Harry is confused about why his brother won’t meet with him since his return to the UK. “Harry doesn’t see why he and William can’t sit down like adults and talk this out. As far as he’s concerned, nothing that’s been said or done is unforgivable. If they’re both willing to take responsibility for their part in things,” the source said.

They added that Harry believes the situation is “incredibly frustrating,” especially because he believes Prince William is enjoying “having the upper hand.” The source continued, “That being said, William can ignore him all he likes. It doesn’t mean he’s going anywhere.”

The insider’s claims sound similar to an earlier story from The Blast that stated Prince William remained unfazed by his brother’s sudden return to Britain after fleeing and stepping back from his royal duties. “William’s view is clear — any relationship his father has with Harry or the Sussexes as a family is entirely up to him,” a source said in September 2026. “But looking toward the future, he will have no relationship with them, in a working or private capacity whatsoever.”

Prince Harry and Prince William’s reported feud isn’t only affecting them; sources say it’s also put even more strain on their elderly father, King Charles. The Blast reported that King Charles reportedly wants his children to “demonstrate cooperation publicly some time very soon.”

The source added that the king, who began his reign in 2022, knows his kids are at odds right now. Even then, he’s said to be “determined to pursue reconciliation between” them.

“Charles has reached the point where he no longer believes he can simply wait for William and Harry to resolve their differences themselves. He has watched this situation deteriorate for years, and he is increasingly concerned that the longer it continues, the more difficult it will become to repair,” the source continued.

While neither party has confirmed the reasons for Prince William and Prince Harry’s estrangement, a royal editor said on a British podcast that Prince William won’t be able to move on from his brother because of the “pressure” his stepping away from the Royal Family put on his family.
