Both stars took to their social media to share their “personal” encounters and updates about escaping the wildfires while expressing their hopes for the safety and well-being of everyone affected.

The Los Angeles wildfires have forced thousands of people to lose their homes in areas such as the Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Santa Monica. As the fire continues to break out across Los Angeles, it has caused many, including Hollywood elites such as Mark Hamill.

Recounting his “personal update” on the disastrous fire, the Star Wars actor shared on Instagram, “7pm-Evacuated Malibu so last-minute there small fires on both sides of the road as we approached PCH.”

He also confirmed that he and his wife had safely evacuated and arrived at their daughter’s house in Hollywood by 8:15 p.m. “8:15 pm- Marilou, Trixie & I arrive at Chelsea’s house in Hollywood,” he stated.

The actor also described the raging blaze as the “most horrific fire since ’93” while urging his fans and followers to “Stay Safe.” In the caption of the post, he emphasized the seriousness of the situation by noting, “We were fleeing for our lives.”

Among the many Hollywood celebrities who have reflected on the disaster, include the Oscar-winning actress Jamie Lee Curtis. The actress shared a number of posts while expressing fears that she, too, might lose her home to the blaze.

Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis also took to Instagram to reflect on the devastation caused by the raging LA blaze, calling it “Tough times.” Sharing a heartfelt Instagram post on Wednesday morning, the actress said,

My community and possibly my home is on fire. My family is safe. Many of my friends will lose their homes. Many other communities as well.

She further highlighted the “conflicting reports” while urging people to share accurate information and varied facts and to prevent any misinformation. She said on Instagram,

There are so many conflicting reports. With all the technology there seems to be very little information. PLEASE POST FACTS! IT WILL HELP THOSE WONDERING!

“It is a terrifying situation,” The Last Showgirl star continued as she expressed gratitude towards “firefighters and all of the good Samaritans who are helping people get out of the way of the blaze.” The Halloween star also shared an Instagram post, saying, “Pray for California.”

The wildfires, which serve as a powerful reminder of nature’s unpredictable power, also forced many other celebrities to flee their home, along with thousands of other residents. These included This is Us star Mandy Moore, and The Hills star Heidi Montag, and Spencer Pratt.

Socialite Paris Hilton also shared that she lost her Malibu house in the fire while offering her prayers to “every family affected by these fires,” on Instagram. The Top Gun star Miles Teller also reportedly lost his home in the Pacific Palisades.

According to the LAFD, the fire has already consumed 2,900 acres in the area. Strong winds on Wednesday caused it to spread further, prompting evacuation orders in parts of Malibu and Santa Monica, as reported by Variety.
