And if the Crown has its way – and it should – Bryan Hayward would be designated a dangerous offender with an indefinite sentence so he can never drug and rape a woman ever again.

In horrific agreed statements of facts obtained by the Toronto Sun, Hayward, 38, has admitted to luring women to his lair, knocking them unconscious with drugs, and often hoisting them up using a homemade rope and pulley system he’d constructed and hidden behind a curtain in his King William St. apartment to move their limp bodies into the different positions he desired as he raped them – all while recording every sickening move.

And then the demon posted his “rag doll” videos online for more sickos to enjoy.

In a Hamilton court last week, he pleaded guilty to a second slew of charges related to sexually assaulting two more complainants and drugging three others, admitting now to abusing 12 women.

Hayward was arrested May 16, 2025, after being tipped off following an investigation by CTV’s W5 program into the global network of men who secretly videotape themselves sexually assaulting their wives and partners. He called himself a “somnophiliac” – a paraphilia characterized by sexual arousal from engaging in sexual activities with a sleeping or unconscious partner.

Pleaded guilty to charges involving seven women

Originally facing 60 charges, Hayward pleaded guilty in June to charges involving seven women.

According to the agreed statement, he’s uploaded 22 videos of himself sexually assaulting unconscious victims to a site where they’ve been viewed more than 144,000 times. In some of the videos, he’s seen inserting sex toys and household objects into the women and flicking their nipples or slapping their faces to demonstrate they were blacked out.

He often labelled the videos with names of different drugs – from GHB to ketamine. A search warrant of his mother’s home and his storage locker uncovered a pharmaceutical cornucopia of tranquilizers, psychedelics, opioids and methamphetamines, as well as bottles of eyelash glue remover, which becomes GHB when ingested, the agreed statement said.

Police located conversations on his devices where he counsels other men on how best to drug women, advising one that his concoction “drops b—–s for 6 hours.”

Hayward was hard to miss in the videos – according to the agreed statement, he lost his left hand after causing an explosion in 2021. In one video, where his drugged victim is struggling to crawl to the bathroom, Hayward says, “I’d offer to lend a hand but I’m kind of short on those.”

In a response to a comment by an appreciative viewer, Hayward wrote, “She had no clue when she woke up (purple devil face emoji.)”

Another victim got into a car crash with her children in the car after she’d been surreptitiously drugged by Hayward the night before; in September 2023, another woman was rendered so incapacitated by GHB that she missed picking up her daughter the next day and missed 165 calls from her worried family and they filed a missing person’s report.

Her son used “find my phone” to track her cellphone to the area of Hayward’s condo where they located her car. She eventually emerged from his condo and told police she was fine. She had no memory of what had been done to her. And that was the end of that.

Cops missed opportunity to stop monster

But Hamilton Police had been called to the same address just the month before. And what is enraging is that taken together, they missed a glaring opportunity to stop him.

According to the agreed statement, on Aug. 4, 2023, police responded outside Hayward’s apartment where they found an intoxicated complainant who told them she’d been drugged with choloroform and showed them videos of straps attached to his bed. They tried to speak to Hayward but he refused to let them in and told them she was just intoxicated and he would take care of her.

“Due to her heavily intoxicated state, their inability to move the investigation forward in any meaningful way at the time, the police accepted the sober word of Mr. Hayward that night and no further investigation could proceed at that time,” the document states.

He wouldn’t be stopped for almost two more years.

Hayward returns to court next month to set a date for a dangerous offender hearing.
