REMEMBER WHERE YOU WERE
Re “What CBC Journalist Standards’ boss doesn’t know about 9/11” Brad Hunter, Sept. 11): Like everyone from that day, I know exactly, to the minute, where I was and what I was doing when the first plane hit the Twin Towers. It was a stunning day, sunshine spilling through the trees and onto the roads. I was just about home from dropping my kids at school when I heard about the second plane, leaving no doubt in anyone’s mind it was a calculated terror attack. Terror, both large and small, had crossed everyone’s doorstep and border. We must never forget that in a free country, if you attack one of us, you attack all of us. Canada and the U.S. must restore our relationship. This day says it stronger than any other.

JOB LOSSES HAPPENING NOW
Doug Ford’s claim to save jobs by aggravating Donald Trump is laughable. What he is doing actually does the opposite. Losing more jobs! Ford must be really bad at chess since he can’t see two steps ahead. The sad part is liberals are cheering and applaud his reckless actions. Now it’s clear Ford is doing it for his own political agenda, not for people, as he claimed. Going to the U.S. to trash Trump, taking alcohol from shelves, calling the U.S. to kiss his behind. Actions have consequences. Losing more Canadian jobs.

Re “Boy, 13, allegedly nabbed with gun in Ajax while under weapons prohibition order” (Chris Doucette, Sept. 12): Really, when is the legal system going to learn? These children know they can and do whatever they want. What harm has this done to their minds and damage to other lives that become their victims?
