Eight people were killed, and an additional 20 were wounded after the United States attacked Iran for a sixth consecutive night.

Iranian media reported that at least six bridges, a railway station and other sites across the country were hit by the American attacks. In retaliation, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps took responsibility for a 13th wave of retaliatory strikes on American bases, with targets hit in Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Jordan and Syria.

Pakistan, China call for immediate ceasefire
China and Pakistan have called for an immediate ceasefire, with resumption of peace talks between the U.S. and Iran, China’s foreign ministry said on Friday.
The Chinese foreign minister called on all parties to fulfil their obligations and abide by the ceasefire memorandum of understanding, per The Independent.
U.S. Marines board vessel in Gulf of Oman
According to U.S. Central Command, American Marines boarded a commercial vessel in the Gulf of Oman on Thursday.

CENTCOM said on X that it boarded the M/T Wen Yao “to ensure full compliance” with the U.S. naval blockade of Iranian ports, per CBS News.
According to CENTCOM, since the blockade began on Tuesday, the U.S. has redirected three commercial vessels that tried to dodge it. It has also disabled one oil tanker, the Curaçao-flagged M/T Belma.
“The Strait of Hormuz and the surrounding waters remain free and open, except for vessels attempting to violate America’s steel wall blockade,” CENTCOM said.

Iran retaliates with attacks on American bases
In response to the overnight strikes by the U.S., Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed responsibility for a 13th wave of retaliatory strikes on American bases.
Air raid sirens were activated in Bahrain after the attacks were launched.
In Qatar, Iranian projectiles attacked the country, with all of them being intercepted, according to its Ministry of Defence. A child was injured by falling shrapnel during interceptions over Doha, Al Jazeera reported.

The IRGC said it destroyed an American air control radar in Oman’s Ghanim region, along with a maritime control radar in the Strait of Hormuz. A tanker vessel was also hit with an unknown projectile while sailing 35 kilometres east of Khasab, Oman.
In Kuwait, a U.S. military base was attacked, with missile defence radar, several weapon depots and two missile launchers hit, Mehr news agency reported.
The Jordanian army said it shot down three Iranian missiles that targeted the country.
An American special operations command centre at the al-Tanf military base in Syria was attacked, the IRGC said.
U.S. attacks Iran for sixth consecutive night
For a sixth consecutive night, the United States has launched overnight attacks on Iran.
According to U.S. Central Command, the attacks were conducted at 1:40 a.m. on Friday. The U.S. military has not provided specifics on what was attacked.
Iran’s Fars news agency said at least six bridges, a railway station and other sites across the country were damaged, killing at least eight people and injuring 20.
Iran’s Ministry of Energy said the American attacks have damaged power lines in Bandar Abbas and surrounding villages, per Al Jazeera.
