How To Get Obsidiron Ingot In 99 Nights in the Forest?

99 Nights in the Forest is on of the best survival experiences in Roblox, because it constantly challanges you to gather resources and craft essential items in the game. Since the introduction of the Meteor Shower in game, we have decided to make a small guide on how we get Obsidiron Ingots in 99 Night in the Forest. Without any further ado, let’s just get started.

What is the Obsidirion Ingot and How To Find it in 99 Nights in the Forest?

The Obsidiron Ingot is one of the most sought after resources after the Meteor Shower event and it is a crucial component to crafting high-tier gear in the game, especially the Obsidiron Chest, which promises a wealth of rare loot and is a singnificant late-game achievement.

The Obsidiron Ingot can be found after the Meteor Shower event, which is a random occurrence that triggers an on-screen alert saying “the skies are on fire” once a player has survived past Day 5. This event is key, because it spawns crash sites where the necessary raw materials are found, and in the following morning of the metero shower, meteor crash sites can be found all around the map.

These meteor crash sites are basically lava lakes with spiked, rocky monuments around them. These rocky monuments can be mined with a standard axe and mining them will yield new crafting components like Meteor Shards, Gold Shards, and the Raw Obsidiron Ore. The drop rate for the Raw Obsidiron Ore is lower than any other materials, so you have to put some elbow grease into the grinding.

These meteor crash sites also spawn Meteor Crabs, which defend the crash site and are hostile towards the player.

How to Make Obsidiron Ingot using the Raw Obsidiron Ore?

Once the Raw Obsidiron Ore is collected from the meteor crash site, you can start proccessing it by breaking the ore down, which is achieved by dropping the the ore from a high place (like a watchtower). Then you take Broken Obsidiron Ore and drop it in lava to get the Scalding Obsidiron Ingot, which you have to drop in water to cool it off.

Once you have dropped the Scalding Obsidiron Ingot in water, it becomes a regular Obsidiron Ingot and you will be able to use to craft recipes. After you have secured an Obsidiron Ingot and the other materials, you can head to the the red anvil that appeared on your map. There you will find the new Meteor Anvil area that only appears after a meteor shower event.

Once you reach the area, you will have to battle an army of Meteor Crabs, and it is imperative that you have backup, so bring a friend and some good gear to clear it out. After getting rid of all the Meteor Crabs, you can craft new items like the Obsidiron Chest in the anvil.
